Everyone has heart except Curry. Did you see the last play of the game? Marbury takes the shot and everyone else on the team is fighting to get close for a potential rebound. Frye is trying to get past Lebron, Jeffries is fighting for position, Rose is fighting for position, and guess what, Curry is sitting back looking at the shot. The only thing Curry gets up for is scoring. His defense last night was horrendous. It was bad even for him. How do you let Eric Snow just drive to the lane on you when you are in perfect position to block the shot? IT needs to get Curry to focus on both ends of the court like he was able to do with Marbury.

Props to da yoots

Rookie Mardy Collins for his steady contributions

Rookie Renaldo Balkman for boundless energy

Instant Rookie Randolph Morris, one week from Kentucky, getting eight minutes after just two practices, and yes "we talkin' 'bout practice"

Frye, the sophomore, for making the return pass to Marbury

Nate, the other sophomore, for being Nate

No they haven't. Their backs have been against the wall almost all yr and they sit 9 games under .500. Did they respond several days ago in Cleveland when they got blown out by 20+? What about the recent losses to Dallas, Portland, and Orlando? Every once in a while the team has a teaser or their opponents lay down. Lebron has yet to dominante in The Garden I don't know what his story is. IMO his stardome is becoming an enigma.

TrueBlue - how trueblue are you anyway?

You don't think missing Crawford, Quentin, Lee and now Francis matters?

LOL for the past week fans have been screaming for Francis to be bought out. Before Crawford went down he was called CRAWFUL by many. The injury bug hasn't been pleasant but almost ever team in the league has had to deal with a Major injury/injuries.

TrueBlue - how many teams are dealing with the loss of THREE players, at the same time, who all receive significant minutes?

The injury thing is not intended as an excuse, but to measure missing one player against three at the same time is not the same.

Especially on a young team with as a fragile balance as the Knicks.

Looking forward to you sticking around all day today and hopefully for the rest of the week. So are you saying you never have made such an observation yourself?

As i've said many times, we're missing 3 30+ mins per game players. One of the top rebounders in the LEAGUE. Our two main deep threats and our big crunchtime player. So that's 42pts, 21rebs, 8.5asts and oh yeah they also shoot well from the line.

I don't get how anyone can really be TOO hard on the team for going thru a rough spell. It's really in my mind about Steph not being able to give what he was for a few games. If he's able to go, he gives us a chance to win. Then it's just a matter of the supporting cast showing up. Frye has to continue to be a real option on offense to help augment Steph and Curry. Nate can be a pain, but he's a scorer and we need him.

I was glad to see Morris get in there. He fit right in as far as drawing fouls. It's something this team is good at, so he'll be right at home. Of course he has a lot to learn on D.

nixluva - just imagine if your were hired by a major corporation, straight out of college. On your third day after employee orientation, you were put in the position of subbing for a Vice President who had been with the company for seven years.

What results could be expected?

Piece of cake, huh.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot nixluva... you rock.

"We are not going to cave," (Thomas) said of the injury problems. "As long as we have five, we are going to go out and play as hard as we possibly can. That is just how we are."
