The refs? sure they call the game like a bunch of donkeys and that non call on the goal tend was criminal, but what do you expect from a bunch of donkeys with whistles?

How about the missed FT's how many did we miss 75?

How about us letting nelson take and hit two threes when they were down 3? are you suprised? we left reddick open earlier who missed two wide open threes that could of sealed the game..

How about letting tony battie that certified clown, score almost three times his season average? huh?

How about nates stupid azz taking that stupid layup down by 3 with 7 seconds and getting it batted on the boards..

How about frye and his soft as tissue play?

How about francis being the idiot scrub he is on the floor?

How about curry and his horrible play early?

How about the bad shots and posessions when we were down 2 points, the marbury 3, the balkman airball, come on!!

How about letting jameer nelson parade in and grab two offensive rebounds off missed FT's?

This team is dense, dense I tell you, DENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid, Low IQ, Just doesn't get it....

Again what and who do you want to blame? Blame whoever you want or whatever you want, but it starts at the top with Dolan, trickles down to every thing he touches, and has infected this team. Isiah was a great player, but he can't make these guys good, this game should not have come down to that. Hit the fT's and this game is over... It comes down to not being good enough, because we all know the knicks will hit all their FT's on wednesday and then turn the ball over 40 times..... WE SUCK!!!

I think this team has flaws and they're clear as day. Hopefully we'll address those issues this summer. In the meantime I still think this team is much better than you guys give them credit for. It's not like Orlando came in here and blew us out. If we have just one more guy on the perimeter, they don't come close to winning this game. Yeah we missed FT's and all that stuff you mention, but tell me is this our best team? NOT WHEN 3 OF OUR TOP PLAYERS AREN'T IN THE GAME. I'm convinced that we're better than Orlando when both team are healthy. I think we'd be up in the 7 spot had it not been for the injuries.

How about frye and his soft as tissue play?

Was Frye really that soft? He was rebounding and blocking shots. He wasn't shooting well but he was contributing. I'm not sure why Isiah benched him down the stretch, it didn't make sense to me. He was guarding Howard better than anybody. Let him foul out. I wouldn't scapegoat Frye on this one, except he missed some free-throws like the rest of the squad.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

It's convenient for you that they lost this game. You should really consider changing your name to LAME ASS KNICK FAN! Are you having a good time tonight as the team you're supposed to love had a tough loss?

No matter what you say, Orlando is at full strength compared to us. The guys we're missing are avg'ing 30 mins a game. They represent our top players and some of our best and much need perimeter attack, Passing, FT shooting, rebounding and decision making in late game situations. Now we have kids out there trying to learn as they go. You want to try and make that seem trivial, go ahead. But it's not like the team lost with their best on the floor. So nothing you say has any merit to me.

Where was your Son through all of this tonight?

He walked out of the room and erased the season he started with the knicks on NBA live playstation, right after nelson hit that second three..... He asked dad? why is it that teams get every shot they want, when they need it against us? and as a dad, I was really upset because for the first time in a long time, I had no legitimate answer for my son.... He is really starting to wonder why I followed this team for so long. when I told him I followed the knicks since I was his age, he started laughing... really laughing hard. I almost felt insulted....LOL..

Your son appears to be a thinker doesn't sound like he uses excuses, just wonders why lunacy always runs rampant with this team and refuses to watch it for the duration. Wise beyond his yrs and I have no idea how old he is. He's someone I'd like to meet and I'm being serious. Listen to him.

tkf, your son is a genius. Or at the very least smarter than 22 people on this board, at last count.

the one bad thing we did was stop playing after the bad call--we still had a chance to win or tie the game--i think it just shut down after that--usually he sets up a nice play--they could not stop marbury going to the hoop--shouldve went to that.

You have to teach him about loyalty and integrity. If you're a true fan of a team, it doesn't stop when they're losing. You can't be a fan only when they're good. Don't let him turn into one of those guys that floats to whatever team is really good or has their favorite player. Changing all the time as the teams fortunes change.

Tkf- I just want to see these good players we have play with somebody who makes them better. I personally feel that JC and Lee are the two best players on the knicks, I don't care what anybody says. They are the only two players on this team that makes things easier for their teams. Will draft a player, the young guys will get older and the team will gel more, but get this team a real point guard. I'm tired of Marbury because he can't be the best player on the team if he doesn't make anybody better.......................

Im gonna blame the same thing that has been blamed and should be blamed. Just because you don't want to hear an injury excuse doesnt mean it isnt valid. No Lee, no Crawford, no Q, thats killing this team.

I had been fooled for a millesecond into hoping that Francis may have enough left to at least SOMEWHAT offset the loss of Jamal. And for a good week or so he had his moments. The Hawks game. The Wizards game. But he's not the same player anymore, period. Losing Jamal kills us. Not having Lee or Q is equally killing us right now

We arent going to the playoffs. give it up. But this year is one that the team spent at least developing some sort of identity. They made progress, Ill be a much tougher grader with them in 07-08. I think 45 wins is possible

The "identity" they developed is so bad that better they will not have any.
This team is not only as bad as another 10 bottom NBA teams but also delusional from top to bottom. And a lot of fans on this bord are also delusional.
Orlando played like crap and deserve the playoff no more that Knicks but if you look at what they have including players, cap, etc. they are in much better position for the future.
Knicks is a collection of half-life zombies and probably has the most stuppid management in the histoty of the game. The 30 games they win is clearly a miracle and reflects the low level of NBA basketball in general with only 7-10 relly good teams. I am not talkin about division and conference.
I don't think that the patience on NY fans is unlimited. It is running out on IT and Co...

You know what is funny is when Mike Breen--almost EVERY year almost EVERY game says we need to beat the bad teams--we ARE one of the bAD teams guy!!!!! we are one of the atlantas bobcats etc... where have you been--what is the knicks record in the last 5 years?? more than 500mm $ spent for an average of 32 wins over 5 years

my son is 14, when it comes to sports he didn't grow up in NY so he isn't tied emotionally to the teams like I am, and living in georgia all of his life, he never really liked the home team. Funny thing is, he used to be a HUGE Steve francis fan, until he learned how to play ball (from me of course) and found out that basketball should not be played the way francis plays it. He loves Dwight howard as a player and being a Georgia boy and all. He doesn't make excuses for the knicks, just doesn't understand with all the so called talent they have, whey they are so bad. He did make one astute observation, when he said, "dad, I know curry is only 24 and knicks fans expect him to get better at defense and rebounding, but can you explain why Howard so early is so good at those things". I said good question son, but just like dwight is good on defense and rebounding, curry is good at scoring so every player has their strengths and weakneses... and then he asked the "QUESTION" "Dad I thought you said defense and rebouding were all about effort?" I quietly retreated back to the TV and told him to go back to bed..... LOL....... Damn Kids!!!!! LOL.....

Again these kids are no fool, and I guess he looks at the game a little different than most of us who are so emotionally tied to the team, he likes marbury simply because I think he feels sorry for him, he doesn't like frye and curry at all, he likes lee and balkman and nate. He asks a lot of good tough questions when it comes to the sport, but can't understand the things he feel are simple. Like big men not being shotblockers or good rebounders, and guards not being able to shoot. He said, dad how was francis so good early in his career and look so bad now, especially if he never had a jumper..... LOL.. again these kids notice everything...

He is loyal and so loyal that he roots for the knicks and here is why. MY son is still a huge magic fan, he loves Howard, but he knows how much the knicks winning means to me, so he even rooted for the knicks to win against the team he likes, just so I won't be a miserable wreck. I don't think my son will ever root for the knicks except to side with his good old dad. He watches the game, and he always expects bad things to happen. He is too young to understand the politics of dolan and Isiah, all he does is watch the games and he sees curry not block a shot, frye get pushed around, francis bumble the ball off his feet and jeffries brick shots... He sees this and wonders how these guys are playing NBA ball, simple and plain, He doesn't like curry because he thinks curry is soft and a waste, he watches dwight block shots and dunk balls, he really doesn't care that dwight does not have an offensive repotoire yet, all he knows is that whatever dwight does works and it, in his mind is how a big man should play. I tend to agree with him..
