i LOVE the Knicks. i HATE these imposters wearing the uniform of my beloved franchise...that goes for the empty suit on the bench too.

I voted I was with you Islet - but here is an out, in my book, for isiah.

When he first came here, he said to dolan- look, we should just rebuild this thing. Or maybe he said, we might be able to rebuild on the fly, but it might not work out.

Dolan said no- I want a winner now- we're not that far from the play-offs- make it so, number one.

Regardless- Grunwald's comments about cap space in 2 years might be an admission from Dolan that he can't have his instant gratification, and a true rebuild is in order.

IMHO, we don't need a total rebuild (and this is not directed at you franco12). We have tradeable assets. We could get very solid player or 2 for Curry, and Frye and Nate have trade value. We just need to identify the right player and situation to take advantage of our trade assets and bring in some players that fit better. Lee, Balkman, Collins are keepers and Marbury, Q, and Rose are veterans who seem committed to trying to win. We have some building blocks. We just need someone to make some wise decisions on how to get the final pieces in here.

isles, you have been right on a lot of the Knicks current affairs and a majority of the criticism is justified, but you go above and beyond my friend. It seems this urk you have against Isiah and this team has gotten far too personal. I remember especially a comment saying you hoped David Lee lost the 6th man award just to stick it to Isiah. I agree that playing for an award is about as retarded as they come, but to take your spite out on one of the only players that busts his ass and plays smart is just too much.
You don't enjoy any of the exciting times that this season has unfolded. Granted, there's been twice as many rip your hair out, put a gun to your head moments, but there's got to be good times somewhere. Number of last second wins and buzzer beaters (including the .1 tip in) Crawford's 52, DLee's MVP,or even as recent as Balkman lighting it up against the Raptors.
Let loose a little man. Put a pause on your busy schedule of plotting Isiah's "accidental" death, or analysing how his lunch order is somehow detrimental to the team and enjoy the good times when they actually come along.

Of course the timing of the poll's going to be even more lopsided then normal, especially after last night's embarassment.

Where does Isles say you have to stop supporting the Knicks? All he's saying is he wants the people that have been preaching and preaching patience with this group to finally step-up and say that this group isn't going to cut it. Theres nothing about not supporting the New York Knicks.

Isiah didn't get me at hello.

He lost me when he sat my man frank williams down and picked up dingleberry, frank was one of the few "from the south side of chicago" that was ready to fight JKidd and the nets.

i was at the game in NJ when frank knocked kidd down and basically stepped over him. we lost the game, but that was a classic moment.
