Whoohoo!

Ok its march 22nd! Know what that means? You got about 3 months to get ripped for the summer!!! That's 12 short weeks to lose the man boobs(or at least go down a cup size, lol)

Can you dig it suckas?

Ok here is the plan.

Nutrition:
All you meat lovers need to cut back on the red meat and fast food for the next 12 weeks! Also do away with all snacks. Yes all of them. Do away with soda and fruit juice. Why? Too much sugar. Diet stuff is ok. Try to drink more water if you can stand it. Easy enough? That alone will get you to lose some weight. When you do eat, try to have a balanced meal. If you have to go to a fast food joint, get the salad with some chicken and a diet soda or water.

Workout:
Now this is all on you. If you wanna get big, but muscle fitness magazine. No I don't work for them but if you do tell them to send me a T-shirt or something, lol. I think muscle fitness is the best muscle mag out. The one that's out now is perfect for this thread cuz it is catering to cardio!

Cardio:
You have to do it! If you are a lazy ass and haven't done much of anything in a while, just walk at a decent speed home from work for 12 weeks. If you only live a few stops home on the train, just walk it. If you have a gym membership, use it for 12 weeks! Just hit a machine for about 30 minutes. That is your goal. Do 5 minutes one day and build up to 30. I don't recomend doing more than 30 minutes of cardio. Now just to make sure you are working hard enough adjust the resistance to where you can't hold a conversation. Don't kill yourself. Just work your tail for 12 weeks.

12 weeks damn it! Can you dig it suckas?

I'm currently starting to step up my routine from winter mode to spring mode. I'm hoping to be able to drop some body fat in time for the first official day of summer. It should be in june some time. For this plan, the target date is June 22nd!

Guys like fishmike, and evil don't count cuz they both are about one cracker away from being in a sally struther infomercial. For guys(and gal, illegedly)that wanna really make an impression on themselves and make just make a change for themselves! Let's do this for 12 weeks!

Who is with me?

Progress report.

You will want to monitor your weight. Weight yourself today, again april 22, may 22nd and then on the target date of June 22nd.

One big thing is getting your body fat tested. You could be 200lbs but somehow the guys on ufc that are in the 185lb weight class look WAY bigger than you. Its body fat. At 200lbs if you were to lose body fat to an athletic level you would be around 185lbs.

Anyway, gnc has a body fat tester. Its 20 dollars but should be 5 dollars. Its a cheap looking thing but very accurate. If you are gonna start weight training you might gain good muscle weight. Check your body fat % and it will make you feel a little better and get you a real feel for what you are doing to your body.

2 summers ago, i was at 210. in about 3 months, i got down to 175-180 range. in my case, it was healthy b/c i was way overweight for my body type (i'm 6'1 but not big boned). make sure of your body type and figure out what your ideal weight should be. 165 sounds crazy light.

Hey if you are really serious, you can get down to 200lbs by June 22nd.

How tall are you?

The heaviest I have ever been was 215lb. It was a fat 215lbs. I got down to 185lbs after I became a vegetarian. Again it was a fat 185lbs. Which means I loss tons of muscle. Not good.

Well I started weight training about a year and a few months and I am back up to 205lbs. I'm not as fat as I was, but I sport an out of shape body fat % of 23%! I know my body and how bad it can be so when I look in the mirror I can see the difference. Ice spent a year just about gaining back my muscle. Now I'm gonna try to melt the fat so I can see the hard work upit in.

I wanna get down to 12-14% by 2008. That would mean that I am in excellent condition. That's my fitness goal. I know that its impossible to get to where I wanna go in a few weeks. I'm looking to get as close to 12-14% body fat by September. I'm going on vacation then. I plan on going somewhere to plant my enyseed. Its the American way.

I'm lighter than a feather and eat terrible although I have improved of late. Water is a huge resource when trying to lose weight.

I'm a thinner version of Nate Robinson. I need to put on 10-15lbs.

You can ask your doctor or fork over the $20 bills for a body fat tester at gnc.

I am totally going to sound like a woman saying this, but you can get an idea of how much fat you have lost by just realizing how well your jeans fit you the first time after a wash. The body fat calculator and underwaterweighing are better, but that requires money. The weight scale can be very misleading, especially if you are weight training which you should be.

I would also have to say I have read a lot of stuff related to eating whole foods. Basically, this says your body doesn't understand a lot of the food out there and you need to eat the most natural foods available. For example, this means wheat bread high in fiber and low in sugar versus white bread. I have to say I love white bread in all it forms. I'm talking about bagels, italian bread, and even the basic white bread.

Food fortified with omega 3 or 6's seem particularly important as well. You can get eggs this way as well as some cereal. Your body just does not seem to process the processed foods the right way.

Edit: Fish has these good oils too. If you like fish that is a good way to go as well.
