I think Isiah was just trying to get his team prepped mentally. if we can't defend them, we've got nothing to lose anyway, so you might as well just throw all-in and be physical with the guy and risk getting fouls called, because he's going to get 2 points anyway. at least that's how it makes sense to me.

the funny thing is after the brawl, I couldn't wait for us to get a shot at Dallas. it was around the time we beat Utah and Detroit that I realized we tend to put up and fight against the better teams, and not compete against the bad teams. the problem is that Tomorrow is coming off a win... so I'm not so confident about our chances

yeah our tricks won't work against the Mavs, even in the Garden. if we get down by 20 against them, we're staying down by 20... we gotta bring it from Q1.

but you do have a point... when the disparity in skill between these two teams is so great, we really do need for one of their scorers to just have a bad night to even out the playing field a little. but man... here's hoping Balk gets more PT. I'm telling you.. Balkman and Lee are brothers from another mother

this is the last string of home games that would be a nice way to start a win streak

Why would he be REAL disappointed. SOme of those numbers are actually pretty realistic. Due to the shortage of regulars, guys like Fyre, Steph, Francis and Curry are more likely to put up good numbers. I don't know about the other guys also getting so many points, but certainly our primary options on offense should get a lot of attempts.

If the knicks beat Dallas nobody will give them credit. Dirk is gonna be a sore loser and Greg Anthony will say it was the long trip from Dallas.

**** texas indeed. my most hated ****ing team. **** 'em long and **** 'em hard.

121-120 would be just perfect. dirk and cuban whining and bitching about calls. i'd jump for joy. my full 36" vertical.
