I saw the first qrt and had to leave to go play pick-up ball with my friends at a local gym where I live. The 1rst qrt was as ugly as it could get for the Hornets and I left feeling the team was going to win this game with ease. What Happened?

I see Curry had a dominating rebounding performance once again with 6reb.

I seriously want him off this team

We signed isiah to an extension so now he is going to worry about next year. Thats what happened.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

the knicks are mentally weak, plus the players have very little chemistry with each other. and there isnt nearly enough defense.

the knicks played tonight's game the same way they played the game 2 months ago, 4 months ago, 12 months ago, 24 months ago, and 36 months ago.

4 years later. still the same results.

Those phucking green pond scum green celtic green pieces of crap uniforms is what did it.

And Steve Francis is just sad!

Frye's confidence is just shot, the dude is rattled and not being assertive.

Eddie is trying to prove a point now.

oh, and I wore my starburys tonite to go run an errand. first time I wore them. Drove to store, walked around, got back in the car, got back home, made dinner, took them off. A piece of the tounge ripped off.

If Starbury is really wearing this crap on the floor he is one dumb sorry SOB and really irresponsable. I got better dress shoes I'd rather play ball in then those sorry skippies.

And to think at the last moment I changed my game picker! I should have went with my gut that said Hornets lost 6 in a row and must be due for a road win!

My feeling the team is coming apart internally.

Last 2 minute of the game were awful.

Marbury made a nice steal but Francis court IQ really tanked tonite.

If Dolan fired Larry for this abortion of a trade then Isiah should be outright shot for it. Man has he really fallen off. Its kinda of sad, he's the only one that does not see it.

I didn't actually watch tonight's game, but my explanation is simple: one incredibly flawed roster.

I'll make it simple. The Knicks are a bad team.

absolutely nowhere is it stated that those shoes were designed to withstand making dinner in them.

they suck. they just suck. they are mailing it in now that thomas is officially dolan's boy. they are pathetic. how can you lose at home to one of the worst teams in the nba while being up as much as 18 points? they deserve this loss and each other. we ( fans) don't deserve this team.

Yep, that about sums up this team. But, you forgot to mention that it is good enough to earn Isiah an extension as both coach and GM.

BTW, I was wrong a couple of weeks ago when I said that the best thing to happen to Isiah was Crawford's injury, which all but guaranteed he would return next year. Actually, the best thing was the combination of Crawford and Lee both going down at the same time, which actually made the Einstein named Dolan feel the need to tell the world straight away that Isiah would be back.

I did not get to watch to whole game but watched most of the 4th quarter. It looked to me that we simply failed to play any defense and allowed Butler to hit like 3 3's in the final 5-6 minutes. I think the team was a little too confident in this one. Plus, I don't understand why Frye is afraid to pull the trigger on his jumpshot. If the guy took his time and just let it go, he would hit more than he misses; he is that good of a jumpshooter. For some reason, he has lost confidence in his shot (and even with that he still scored 20 or so points last night).

Last night we didn't get enough defensive rebounds and we didn't get the calls we usually get. So that made the game a lot closer than it shoud've been. Our defense was actually pretty good for much of the game, but we didn't finish it off with getting the rebound when they missed. There's no reason that team should outrebound us. MAN I MISS LEE!

Fear of not letting ISIAH down(marbury) is making the team scared to win, and they become easily intimidated so they lose.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

here's the funny thing, in a big game that we needed, and after the whole "feed the ball to curry" stuff, francis 21 pts, 10 assists, and only 2 to's, yet steph 8 pts, 5 assists, 3 to's on 3-13 from the field.
