If I had to choose between him and Curry now, I choose Curry-which changes my opinion from the beginning of the season.

Frye is a player, but he needs to be on a team where he can be the focal point of the offense. You bulk this guy up 15 pounds and tell him to go play center for 35 minutes a game and i think he would be successful. He is just not working out as a PF because he is too slow and the guards continue to refuse to give him the ball on the block. So he is reduced to jumpshooting and seems to have lost his confidence doing even that.

while his play this season is disaapointing, he needs to find his nich as a player and stick to it.

That or follow Larry where ever he goes. He did great as a rookie under him.

I think in order for him to be effective he needs to lose the weight that he put on he really is super uncordinated and you rarely see him able finish around the basket

Frye needs someone like Chris Paul or Deron Williams to be succesful. Last year he was succesful because Marbury was actually looking for him on pick-and-pop plays and Curry was not because he was not given the ball. Now it is reversed. Marbury and crew are looking for Curry instead of Channing. Funny thing is that Marbury is now forcing guard play. They are no longer looking for Curry and not looking for Frye either. I don't like the guard play since Jamal went out. It seems Marbury and Francis are putting it on themselves to carry this team. I think this is a bad idea.

agree completely... Marbury & Francis are trying to take this on their shoulders, & the other guys on the team are left to just watch them launching up 3's & perimeter jumpers... i don't like it either... they've been playing well as individuals, but that's not the team concept that'll help this team get into the playoffs... we really miss D Lee on this team... he's the guy that made the offense flow so much smoother, & even tho Curry says Jamal is the guy that always looked to get him the ball, if you noticed it was D Lee that often got those touch passes over to Eddy in the low post off Marbury's penetration, which resulted in a lot of easy made baskets for Eddy down low.

yea I've been saying that all season. he's a center not a damn PF. last year we saw he has a good post game.this year Isiah has turned the kid into brad miller. I get the feeling while he's here he will be stuck as a shooter, then as soon as we trade him the other team's coaches will help him develop into a starting C

Frye's trade value is as high as it's going to be right now, not that it's really that high, because people will give him the benefit of the doubt for a sophomore jinx. When he sucks again next year there will be no excuses and his trade value goes down the toilet.

You know last year lee had a legitimate beef with Larry cuz he was benched a lot for no reason. Lee showed great signs that he could do what he has done this season.

Isiah has babied frye all season. Isiah tried force feeding frye in the post early on. He also tried to get frye off in the begining of games. Frye did not respond.

Isiah also has stuck with frye most of the year as the starter. Everyone and their mother knows Lee earned the start at the 4.

Bottom line, don't give that **** that isiah has done anything to channing. Channing is puss and that is it. Stop looking for him to be the golden boy. He doesn't belong here. Let him find his testosterone in another city with his bitch ass.

I mostly agree with this. I don't think he needs to be the focal point of an offense though to be successful. He just needs to play with someone besides a player like Curry who demands the ball so much. His ppg would be around 14 playing with Curry if you extend his minutes to 35 mpg. If you take Curry out of the situation he would get more touches, and more points, and I think he would start shooting and passing in the right situations. Part of his bad decision making is a function of his confidence not being as high as it could be. The guy has to know that his time is limited with this team, with Curry as the center.
