In my never ending quest to rid my life of channing frye, I can only find one team that might be the perfect fit for both sides.

The Boston celtics. I came up with Boston cuz I seriously can't find another team that could use channings talent. How annoying is that?

As it is the Celtics rival Memphis in having the worst record in the league. Meaning they have a shot at oden. Now, if they lose out on oden a lot of things can happen. One thing is for sure they will be in need of a center. Al Harrington is a nice player at the power fwd spot. They actually need a player like channing to do what he is actually supposed to do in NY.

Channing is not happy here. He needs a change. Dude is not a new Yorker. I think being a Celtic would make him step up his game and career.

Meanwhile in knickland, the knicks need a point guard. The celtics currently have 3 young ones. Sab telflair may be a bust. He also may just need a change of scenery. Delante west is a really good player. I like him chillin behind marbs. Rondo is the crown jewel though. Knicks need one of those guys bad.

What do you think?

I do like West...maybe he just looks better because he's playing the Knicks, but the guy seems to play solid defense and is capable of hitting the big shot when called upon.
If Steph and Telfair are still feuding, you can basically cross him off your list.

i don't know, you have to be careful trading frye. he's been underachieving this season and right now we'd have to trade him for less than he's really worth

He overachieved last season. If the Knicks don't get what they can for him now, he'll be worth nothing soon. I think the team could get a draft pick at the end of the first round now... I say the team should cut their losses and get what it can before it's too late.

nah

i dont want west, he's a shooting guard playing point guard...plus it would be like playing curry and frye to gether with frye and jefferson because frye isnt as quick to guard alot of 4's in the league

Yeah man its time to cut the loses. We aren't looking at a 20 year old. Frye is currys age. Only thing is curry has 5-6 years of NBA experience. Knicks gotta let him fly. If he goes to the celtics and produces so be it. Knicks are looking at a Danny schayes right now.

What about Chicago?

They need a frontcourt guy who can put the ball in the hoop. Duhon for Frye would be a good, fair deal for both teams.

I really can see the Lakers wanting Frye, thing is, they don't have anything we want(well that they'd give up)

What's the rush in getting rid of Frye? Patience young grasshopper. He's the kind of guy we would let go and come back and kill us anytime he see the orange and blue of the Knicks. It is still a learning process for him right now.

I think we should be open to trading Frye from a place of strength where some team oughtta come bowl us over with a package like DWest + a #1 pick.

No need to hold a fire sale just to get rid of the guy. Patience. Big men require more of it. Aren't you wondering if Channing can get past this sophomore jinx?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Paxson is a fag. He refused trading deng for gasol. Maybe he would trade the knicks nocioni. Nocioni is exactly what the knicks need out of a 3. Plus the dude is up there if not leading the league in charges. That is the player the knicks need from the bulls but as we all know paxson is gonna want to fleece the knicks.

The lakers have Brian cook. I think this dude can become somebody in this League. Still its about what direction they wanna go. They aren't trading bynum(sp?). They have kwame still and tiriaf even with the heathy issues is a knick type player. Phil likes jumpshooting bigmen.

The problem is, his "sophmore jinx" started last year. I don't think its a jinx, I think this is Frye. I saw the guy a million times in college and all the games he's played with the Knicks, this is who he is and I fear he really doesn't have much of a ceiling above where he's at right now.

Edit: Unless of course he totally changes his game, but I don't see that happening.

I think we've done enough trading with the Bulls for a millenium. ;)

If we're going to ship Frye out make sure we get a reliable 3 or a bulldog down low to put next to Eddy.

I have a question. Why does a jumpshooting big man like frye need to wear a mouth piece? The dude is averaging 5 rebs per game and is not even trying to block anything.

Again WTF is the mouth piece for?

Another thing, what exactly is Frye going to develop into? A butterfly?

The knicks need frye to score inside more. Well curry does that and is actually getting better. They need him to rebound more. Well David lee does that for 10.7 a game. Knicks need his jumpshot? The knicks need a 6'11" dude to shoot jumpshots? That's fine and dandy but what about the rest of the game?

Knicks need a forward who can shoot from the outside, rebound and have a balanced floor game. That to me is a small fwd. Tom McDonald on ny1 thinks frye should play small fwd. Tom aint nobody but the fact is frye is not helping the knicks going forward.

Why would the celtics take a chance on missing out on and Durant or Oden, for Channing Frye. Come on man .

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
