Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Can someone please find the thread comparing the Knicks slow start to the Mavs slow start, rationalizing that it happens to good teams too.

Good to great teams can easily come back from slow starts. Bad teams bury themselves with slow starts.

Dallas is a team full of throw aways and losers, at least that's what all the players were before they became Mavs. Its amazing what they are doing.

If Avery Johnson would stop being a PRICK and play Austin Croshere more minutes they'd be undefeated.

well... Dirk = top 5 NBA player. Plus JHoward is awesome and their guards play great ball. High IQ team

Well even dirk was a pick that was laughed at when he came into the league. No question what type of player he is now.

Jason terry? He coulda been a knick. The guy is a tweaner that was labeled a guy that was good on a terrible team but had no position.

Stack was a loser, and a jerk. Still a good player but a selfish loser.

Howard was passed up by many and everyone was suprised he was so good when he first came out.

Dampier? Diop?

Its a team of losers, underachievers, and under the radar guys.

Even the coach is an underdog.

Its great what they are doing.

it's the evolution of the team.

finley + nash + dirk...dirk needed the support staff while he was development.

dirk has developed.

he is now surrounded by guys that know exactly what their roles are. those guys were brought into the culture and did not disrupt it.

but it all starts with dirk. no dirk, that team then relies on all the "castoffs" you mentioned and it's a lottery team.

superstar...superstar...superstar...and in this case, a SU-perduper star.
