a pretty pointless thread, u couldve just voiced your opinion in the game thread or isles thread, if you share the same sentiments as him

The funny thing is that now that Crawford is no longer there to take the ball from Starbury, he's hogging the ball and looking for his shot more than he has all season. Basically he's reverting back to the player he's been his entire career.

And the people who are praising his game since Crawford went down are the same people who killed Starbury for being too selfish before.

From these posts, I have doubts that you guys actually watched the game. Anyone who did would have appreciated the effort that Steph put in to win the game. I was proud of the team today despite the loss, because they (or at least Steph) left it all out there on the court.

I thought he played really well tonight.

Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Actually, I already admitted that I didn't. I saw the box score and read the analysis, and that's all I need to know, becaue it's the same scenario, as when I did' see the games he's played in.

And will you stop saying he won the game.

I thought he played really well tonight.

Now that's the most honest answer I seen from one of you. It's simple. I thought he played well tonight. No pretentions as to having to 'carry' the team on his back and how no one else helped. Just a simple 'he tried'. That's all that's requierd. He played well, but unfortunately, we lost the game. That's really' what happened tonight and I appreciate it.
I'll never trust this' team again.

if u didnt watch the game than how can u be so sure how the game went??...the hate for the guy is unbelievable considering he was the only reason we were still in this game...the rest of the team were laying bricks, frye and curry were soft and ur hating the man for giving it his all, he played 47 minutes man...your one of those fans that doesnt say anything when things are good, but when something happens, even if you dont witness it, your quick to judge....its pretty obvious that you hate stephon marbury, but if it wasnt for him putting the team onhis back the 2nd half, the game wouldve been over before the 0.09 left on the clock

Hey' this guy better' keep us in the game, considering how much money he's making.

it's funny that when I was' trying to say something good and positive before, no one responded. But eveyones responding now' aren't they? And if you've been paying attention to this hateful fan, you'd of seen me slam Frye, Jeffries, Jerome, Nate, and few other bums on this team, that Zeke put together. I have every right to express my displeasure and you should be doing the same. And God' can you stop using the term 'putting the team on his back'? It makes me puke! Let's here about all the times he 'DIDN'T' put the team on his back. If Crawford was back, starbury would be doing to some bench time. How about the six game winning shots that Crawford pulled out of his hat the last several months. I bet starbury can't do that? He can't even hit a friggin clutch free throw. The only thing he carries on his back is his name and number!
I'll never trust this' team again.

see your wrong regarding that....i dont like the way the team is constructed and i see wht u mean...but the guy is playing hard man...

is it his fault that curry cant pass out of double teams??
or Q having a bad back
francis dribbling the ball into oblivion every possession??

all im saying is this team even if it made the playoffs, wouldnt go anywhere, but what i think is fans want to see the team in the playoffs just so they can finally say something regardless of the outcome..

im pretty aware that this team will not win a championship as it is now....

Well, with that said, I'll let it rest for awhile. I just want wins man. I'm so sick of this team losing and refuse to except excuses. If I got one half cent for every Knick excuse I've ever heard, I'd be a very rich man.

i highly doubt if you had watched the game, you'd be blaming Steph at all for that loss last night... the only reason the Knicks were even in the game was because he kept hitting big shots throughout the game to keep it close, & in the end he took over & drove them back to take the lead... missing the foul shot was a tough break, cuz as much as i've criticized the guy in the past, i really felt bad for him last night cuz he left his heart out on the floor last night.

this is a game i would blame Curry & Jefferies for missing their foul shots & not being aggressive all game long, & i won't defend them against any one who wants to take shots at Curry today... & where the hell did Channing Frye go? he's about as soft a player as i've seen wearing a Knicks' uniform in a long time... they were leaving him WIDE open all game long & he didn't want to take a shot after he missed a couple early... completely useless last night.

The draft genius isiah thomas strikes again, Frye is absolutley horrendous and we can't get anything if we tried.....

Marbury had to score, who was he going to pass it too, Eddy? They were doubling him and he is about the worst passing big guy i have ever seen....Channing and JJ which one is softer is hard to imagine.....so that leaves francis who was off and q who was streaky. The free throw was not the problem it was the launch from three that set up lewis.....

Curry is not a franchise guy, and last night and every time we need a big win eddy shrinks, like he does against the Nets. You think the guy would at least try to get in there and mix up it. Commit an offensive foul trying to get a rebound, something for god sakes.....

There has to start being some level of reasonableness when it comes to this guy. Steph can't play any better than he's been playing. He's been what has gotten this team within a game of the playoffs. His D, his leadership and his offense has been stepped up to an incredible level. You can see that he's trying to will this team to the playoffs, even tho we don't have all of our horses and some of them are banged up.

You'd think that a fan would have some sense of understanding at this point with Jamal gone, Q hurt, Lee, who everyone thinks is a starter, being out, and Nate not being here as an option. That's a LOT he's making up for. Look at this guys performance since the Milwaukee game:

Mar 6 vs. SEA 47 mins 40 pts
Mar 3 @ ATL 51mins 38 pts
Mar 2 vs. GSW 42 mins 34 pts
Feb 28 @ BOS 44 mins 23 pts
Feb 26 vs. MIA 39 mins 25 pts
Feb 25 @ NJN 45 mins 22 pts
Feb 23 vs. MIL 43 mins 22 pts

Can the guy get a little credit for not only stepping up his game, but still looking to get others involved and playing D. I've been a big fan of his for a long time and i've never seen him playing better. All of this on tender Knees.

This is great. This is the slow class post and 4949 is the kid who keeps raising his hand to say something absolutely pointless.
