First of all who's gonna anchor our defense Curry/ Big Snacks ?

Smart TEAMS showed us already how curry will get defended in the playoffs if we make it.

Foul trouble running into defenders, also taking too long to determine what he's gonna do drive or pass out the double.

They will attack him from many angles to make his brain go on overload.

Isiah has too many players that do the same thing, this is why when we have guys in suits the team (by default) has a better rotation.

Steph has been balling really well as of late, but this guy is a choke artist when everything is on the line and games really count while in NY, HE USE TO DEFERRING TO CRAW.

When we play teams that are good Lee gets boxed out and there will be some 4-5 reb games for him.

This regular season stuff does not show me the knicks have what it takes to sneak up on teams like in 1999.

Ewing is not play defense and neither is Camby. Oh yea we have Cato and Big Snacks.

Tired of being hurt by this team with high expectations, I am waiting for us to blow it up and add a game dominating real stud with cred on our roster

dude if they make the playoffs its a success

what is the point of these posts? lets wait and see rather than predicting how they'll be playing ball in a month

PS playa are you watching this game? marbury has carried us in the 4th.

also, backing into the playoffs means if they were like a top 4 team all season and then the last month went 2-10 and just barely got the 8th seed. this team has fought and clawed to get to contention, if they make the playoffs it would be a great thing for all the young players to get some experience.

are you expecting a finals run? why would making the playoffs be a disappointment? everyone expected this team to be one of the worst, how would making the playoffs be a disappointment?

IDIOT!!!!! IF just one of the Knicks had bothered to get back on D and get in front of Rashard Lewis, then Steph isn't a choke artist. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? Can you play a better game than Steph played tonight?

Steph didn't choke tonight. He's human and he missed a free throw. He was a huge clutch player in the 4th quarter.

Do any of you know what clutch is ?

Clutch is when the game is in jeopardy the guy steps up and makes the difference AKA Franchise player.

Playing well UNTIL crunchtime doesn't make you clutch.

CRAWFORD IS MR CLUTCH ON THIS TEAM

Sorry guys, as great as Steph was I think he choked. Since the Craw injury, Steph has decided to take the realms of the go to guy. He was supposed to hit that free throw, no excuses. The game was his from the beginning from an offensive standpoint, he flat out carried us tonight. I'm sure fatigue was a factor, but big time players find ways to win, and Steph came up just a bit short. I am not discrediting what he did tonight by no means, but he clearly should've hit that free throw to at least make up for that horrible posession previously.

Guess he doesn't have the ice water flowing through his veins like Gilbert who calmly sank 3 free throws for his team...

Dude you have absolutely NO IDEA what you're talking about. Steph has been doing everything he can for this team and you can't even begin to blame him for this game. Steph is clutch too but it just didn't go our way tonight. IF anyone else had stepped up, we win this game. Now we can rest up and hopefully get Lee back for the stretch run. This one game isn't going to dictate anything lasting for this team. They have to shake it off and get back to work.

I think what Marbury did does qualify as choking. If we stop trowing temper tantrums every time the word choke comes up like we are 12 years old, it becomes obvious.

Not everybody is clutch. Houston was a choker, too. He missed plenty ft's down the stretch and he was a much better shooter in general.

The real problem was that 3. That is stupidity. And that is Marbury's real problem, low bbal IQ. As is the entire teams.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Is this the same Arenas who choked in the playoffs last year in a similar spot?

Playa, you need to relax.

Steph choked tonight, and I agree. Done.

If the Knicks make the playoffs its a successful season. Done.

Oh, and I will probably ask for a cigarette if they don't.

AGAIN! If Steph had missed that 1st one, then I could say he choked or if he really bricked the 2nd one, but he didn't. You guys are barking up the wrong tree with this. I think people tend to forget who Steph is. He's not a choker. He's been a clutch player in the past and that's been documented.

"Steph was huge," Suns coach Frank Johnson says afterward with requisite amazement. "He wouldn't allow us to lose."

"Most importantly, in his second season with the Suns, Marbury has pulled this preseason lottery lock into playoff contention with hard-nosed play and solid team leadership. Simply put, there's not a point guard in the game who's outplaying him. And Marbury's clutch-time performance--measured by the NBA as production in the last two minutes of games and in overtime--has been among the best in the business all season long."

Succsessful because the same team that mustered up a six game winning streak and then quitlast yr and this yr playing hard for the new coach can barely muster a 3 game winning streak. You call making the postseason where most teams are playing poorly a success ?

with a 120 gazllion dollar payroll with the guy who put this team together as head coach, only a div chip would be considered a success.

How low have the expectations gone for some knicks fans
