Kind of remind me of a young Clyde in his style. Defense first, the smooth way he handles the ball and his decision making. I hope the shot comes along soon. If the jumper can become consistent we might just have a PG of the future.
Kudos to IT. say what you want this team is almost rebuilt for the future. Man it took only three years to get from that sinking never ending hole kinck managament got us into.
That is cool.
This is my first post. I have been a site watcher for a while. Living in Florida this is my connection to the Knicks. Thank you guys for the great Knick discussions.

we have no sg, sf, and marbury although he has played great could really break down at any moment, then we have crawford in the fold who has helps us lose half our games....
We are playing in an injury plagued conference, played a number of teams shorthanded and are under .500 i love what people are watching....

Hmm... can't you say the same thing about the teams that you want to give credit to. Kind of have to work both ways.

Im sorry, but I havent seen anything from Mardy Collins that makes me excited. He is playing exactly like a fifth string guard should. Until he develops a shot im not getting excited about him.

Did you ever see a young Clyde? How old are you? Don't see it at all and yes I did see a young Clyde in his day.

Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years.
First Leon move I hate

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

People just don't realistically evaluate the team we have hear.
I hear everyone talking about crawford winning us games, frankly i don't care how many games he has won i would say he hit about 6 big shots to help seal a victory this year, he makes more than he misses but when crawford isn't playing well he usually shoots 3-13, or 5-17 has a number of turnovers and kills the offense. If you don't see the problem counting on a guy that everyone wants to start playing great/terrible every other game, there is no need to discuss anything.
The season has been somewhat exciting at times, and they played a number of thrillers at home, but everyone is acting like we have some bright future, when Marbury is breaking down, francis is in and out of the lineup, q has to sit out games because of his back and channing, jamal and nate have looked far worse than they did last year......
The team having a bright future is dependant on a few things
1. We need to find a team that will give us good starter and solid scoring option, i think the warriors could be that team. Move Frye and Crawford niether of them play defense and both are somewhat soft. 2. Balkman needs to develop a consistent jumper and actually play ahead of jefferies who should never get more than 15 minutes 3. Lee needs to work on his jumper and get consistent 4. Q needs to stay healthy, Marburys need has to hold up 5. And most important Eddy Curry has to start loving the game, come into camp in shape and take no prisioners, commit hard fouls and bust his ass out there on defense.....
Two things that would allow the knicks to be contenders 1. Jamal Crawford and Channing Frye for Jason Richardson 2. Artest gets dropped from the Kings and signs for the midlevel

Actually the guy isn't that far off in his comparison to Clyde. No he isn't a shooter, but he's a big guard like Clyde and like Clyde he's more of a defensive specialist, WHICH IS HOW CLYDE WAS USED originally. Give the guy some time to see if he develops his offensive game. It's not like he's Balkman and can't shoot at all. He just needs more work. LOTS of guys come into the league needing to refine their shooting. Of course he can't be expected to be an ALL TIME GREAT like Clyde, but there are some similarities in some aspects of his game. The more accurate comparison as some have mentioned is a McKie type of player. Again not to say that he's definitely gonna ba as good, but similar.

I hope you are not talking about Clyde the basketball player. Hopefully you are talking about a guy named Clyde that works at Burger King on 5th Avenue.
Mardy handle and game play is anything but smooth.

Frank is a more purer point than Mardy.....Mardy plays better D but Frank, when in shape, is a better prospect.
No Way, Frank Wiliams shoots 2 handed from his waist like a 9 year old.
oohah
So does Michael Redd. Im just saying.....
Remember that stretch of 3 games Frank started before Marbury got healthy again, and Frank got injured? He was very impressive to me. A natural passer, and passable scorer.
