Its official Isiah has lost his mind, granted I can't believe I am excited over back to back wins against two of the worst teams in the NBA, but I am. But this is absurd, Channing has been terrible this season and Lee will not get enough games in the starting lineup to jeopardize Isiah chances, I mean lees chances at winning the sixth man of the year award.

Obviously he finally played balkman vs atlanta and he responded with 12pts 13rbs numbers jefferies can only dream of. He needs to get his lineup straight and give lee the starting pf slot and play balkman over jefferies more often.

Why can't this man see that more lee and more balkman equals more wins......

He has now started Rose, Lee, Frye, and James at the pf spot, what is he doing, listen i am happy we are in contention for the playoffs and I think the crawford injury with only magnify why jamal hurts the team in the long run.

But we are 6-2 when lee plays 40 minutes that trend needs to continue, ride your late round draft picks into the playoffs, and let Marbury carry us home....

It's better than starting James, but that's a low ars freaking standard. You're 100% right MS. It's real hard to comprehend what's going on with this team. This "If it ain't broke don't fix it" policy that Isiah is claiming to use is absurd.

I have been one of the biggest advocates for DLEE starting but actually with jamal out - I would start Frye too, you just need to be able to space the floor or else Curry is totally ineffective. If Jamal was playing I would start DLEE for sure.

That's exactly what Zeke is going to do, until it fails. remember at the start of the year, when weplayed all of those tough games and the Franbury backct was a failure...well we have some tough games on the schedule coming up. When having a outside-inside game failed at the start of the season, thats when Isiah said that we would use Curry as our first option and the Eddy for All-sTar campaign came to fruition. So yes, Isiah will use the "fly by the seat of his pants" approach.

Amazing though, one player goes down, Jamal (who MS just loathes so passsionately) and game plan changes. Guess Jamal is not important to this team? HAHA. Plus I agree, Lee would be starting if JC wasnt hurt. But if we get in to the playoffs and Craw can play, this will all change.

I am OK starting Fry if Eddy will come from the bench. Ha-Ha-Ha...
Fry is CENTER. Starting him at PF is useless.

Seriously Fry should start at SG spot. Anyway he plays as one.
But hey... we know who is running the show. So what are you expecting? Miracles...

Sixth Man Award: David Lee, Knicks

We still can't fathom why Isiah Thomas believes Jerome James is worthy of the starting lineup but Lee is not, but at least it's going to help the second-year forward with 29 double-doubles get plenty of support for the award taken home by Mike Miller a year ago.

Executive of the Year: Bryan Colangelo, Raptors (Way to listen dolan)

Some teams take years and years to rebuild, but Colangelo remade the Raptors in a matter of weeks, turning over three-quarters of the roster while putting together the Eastern conference's biggest surprise.

Even the recent Juan Dixon-Fred Jones trade seems to favor the Raptors, though their March is off to a rocky start after such they had such strong months in January and February.

But the thing about Frye is he is not spacing the floor he has been useless and isnt' scoring or rebounding, so how valuable is he out there......

Curry is not the same player without jamal and i would rather see guys out there trying on both ends of the floor like Collins, Lee, and Balkman those are the types of players that help you win games.....

Curry 16, 22, 9 in his last three he is struggling a little without crawford, actually i would like more of a team concept out there curry and crawford are scorers which you need but i don't want the entire offense centered around two players that aren't held to the same standard as other players as far as taking care of the ball and not trying on the defensive end. I don't wish bad on any of our players I just can't root for guys that aren't giving it all their effort on a nightly basis

MS Frye is spacing the floor, he might not be nailing a tun of Jumpers but teams still have to gaurd him 18 feet out, teams wont gaurd DLEE 18 feet out. Therefor he is spacing the floor and allowing Eddy to operate. Assuming jeffries is on the other block.... You could start DLee at the 3... which would work great for our offense but not for our defense....... its a tough call

I just don't see how you pick jefferies over balkman....

Balkan is going to finish better around the basket, handles it better is quicker will get more stls, rbs, blks, and points than jefferies and they are about the same on defense

MS, I agree with you on all but not giving the effort. They giving all they have.
And this is ALL they have. You want something from Eddy and Jamal that they just cannot do.
Eddy will NOT be Shak, and Jamal will NOT be Cobe and even Ray Allan.

It is not what they cannot do, but it is how IT is using what they can do.
Delusional GM/coach makes a lot of players delusional about themselves and fans delusional about the players

Ohh I agree,

I think you need to rider eddy early and often and get him touches and let him pound it inside, i don't think that he should play over 30 minutes if you get him enough touches can his damage and not kill the team on defense....

Jamal has been used disastoursly this year, they need to keep him in check and not give him the green light, and ask him to be more of a play maker. I think its about not giving effort for eddy because he never tries to help or get his hands up half the time....

I think the only thing isiah has done has let the team play the way they want, and be like an assistant coach being everyone best friend....

Is that really true? There might not be a huge statistical improvement but in watching the games, I have seen Frye rebound pretty effectively lately and he plays better defense than Curry. He scoring is off, but I attribute that more to our guards' inability to get him the ball on the block. I agree that Lee is a better PF, but I think Frye has improved since the beginning of the year and can add some things in the starting lineup. I still am of the view that as long as lee gets 35 minutes, I don't have much of a problem with Frye starting. Now James starting was ridiculous.

It was in the post yesterday....

Earl again another great point on isiah has been making the right decision all year, starting jerome james at pf, signing and starting jj2, when you could sign someone in the dleague that would have the same impact, allowing crawford to do whatever he wants, playing frye at pf instead of center and making him the focal point of the second unit, using all the right combos of players.

Not preaching defense, taking care of the basketball, keep dlee on the bench.......Then again another great point

-Trying to make curry an allstar to justify giving up four draft picks
-Not starting david lee trying to prove that frye was not a poor selection
-Putting more emphasis on Lee winning the sixth man
-Starting James?
-Playing Jefferies?

That looks like somoenes agenda, to prove he isn't the worst gm in basketball. Frye is better served when he is being utlized not when he is a decoy

Explain how starting James for 3 minutes and then not playing again is what is best for the team.

That's an individual agenda if I ever heard of one.

-How about trying to make Curry an allstar and focal point of this team because it might help us win.
-So If Isiah started DLEE, wouldn't that also justify Isiahs eye for talent because Lee was the 30th pick in the draft.
-Lee still plays 30-plus minutes a night.
-Can't defend staring James nor JJ. Both have been horrible.
