I think its between those 2 and its a real tough call.. Barbosa is having a hell of a year but so is DLEE. I heard Stackhouse brought up but he is not in the same level as these 2.

Thoughts?

i predicted Barbosa at the beginning of the year, but D Lee's giving him a serious run for his money.

What about Gordon?

Gordon has started in just under half of the Bulls games.

What's the criteria?

I think with Nocioni's injury Gordon has been getting starts.

If Lee is only coming off the bench, behind Jerome James, because Isiah wants some kind of credit then I hope like hell that Barbosa wins it.

way to justify rooting against the Knicks. Y dont you just root FOR another team and their players, and come out of the closet.

First, Ben Gordon started 29 games this season. Does that make him eligible? Until we know, let's assume that it does and see how the three stack up numbers wise.

Player......Pts....FG%....3pt%...FT%....Boards..Asst...Steals...Blocks
Barbosa - ..16.9../.47..../.43../.85.....2.6....4.2.....1.2....../.2
Gordon - ..21..../.45..../.40../.88.....3.1....3.6...../.7....../.2
Lee - ......11.2../.61......0.../.82....10.7....1.8...../.9....../.4

I'd say it's pretty close. Now let's look at the +- stats from 82games.

Barbosa +2.6
Gordon +6.4
Lee +8.3

I'd give it to Lee - even if Gordon's involved. But, I'm a Knick fan.

Honestly, it's a tough call. Barbosa is doing what he's doing on a great team and that's a tough point to argue. However, Lee has been the best player of the three off the bench, so I'd have to give the slight nod to Lee.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

wow, you'd actually rather begrudge a good kid like D Lee getting league recognition for the job he's done this year just to spite Isiah?

Yeah, I wouldn't go that far. Lee's a good kid who plays his heart out and I hope he gets the award.

what about the team record aspect? it counts for MVP- should it be a factor for 6th man? in that case barbosa hsa the inside track with gordon in the mix.
