It's good to see that the All-Star break did nothing to alter Isiah's brain (and this is not a good thing), and that the joke lives on (also not a good thing).

One of the many reasons I find this team so frustrating is that salary plays a huge role in playing time

I think it's time reporters start getting some balls and make an issue out of this. Just ask Isiah: "Do you really believe the team is better off with Jerome James playing the first few minutes and David Lee sitting on the bench?"

It would be nice to tally up the # of points the Knicks have scored and their opponents have to start the game while JJ is in and present that stat to Isiah at a press conference. I have a feeling the stat is pretty bad.

In the 5 games that Jerome James has started before tonight, the Knicks have been outscored 17-36 from the start of the game to when they replace James.

Isiah is such a great coach. Or he's covering up for a pathetic GM.

The only way to justify starting JJ is so he guards the best low post player in the beginning of the game to keep Eddy Curry out of early foul trouble.

This makes some sense but I'll take Lee starting any day of the week.

Isiah needs to take Econ 101 and learn what sunk cost means.

its about feeding Curry in the post and starting the game without people diving into the lane like its a slip and slide. Neither of those things show up on the stats.

Honestly this guy sucks and we could probably do the same or better with Cato, but that's what its about... oh and the trade deadline, but its mostly about interior defense and feeding the post.
