Thomas gave a distressing answer Friday. "I'm not interested in establishing a rotation," Thomas said. "I'm interested in winning a basketball game, trying to use all the resources we have to win the basketball game every single night."

Rotation is about as set as one could be though. It's pretty much:
JC 36
Curry 36
Lee 34
Marbury 31
Q 30
Frye 26
Francis 22
everybody else 24minutes to split

I would just give those minutes to Balkman if it was me since most of them are at backup small forward.

I actually agree with thomas. this team is comprised spare parts anyway, he should just mix and match depending on what the opponent is doing. although that may not have been what he meant when he said that.

Set rotations are the norm but with this team you have a problem. Curry is our Center but doesn't play defense/rebound/blockout so Isiah has to mix and match to cover his deficiencies. Frye doesn't do the dirty/hard work, Jeffries has been a bust, Lee can't defend well, Balkman despite talent is raw. I'm only listing the front line because that's where we have the most problems. Isiah doesn't have a set rotation because there's no consistancy from the front line.

Jeffries 20 minutes are now the "SITUATIONAL/CD-DNP" that the rest of the team gets. I would say Queenies post shows that the roster is very much set. The only real problems are Start Lee, why does Jared stink and Francis having to play.

yeah, balkman and jeffries are two sides to the same coin. Whichever gives us what we need in the game we need it.

Who knew QRich would bounce back so much this year before the season? Anyone? Anybody?

so, that kills the jeffries starting philosophy as well as the balkman draft and getting minutes.

In the back court, it's a toss up at this point between francis and nate. Nate is youth but I mean, pure youth...and while francis makes a few dumb turnovers here and there, he's a veteran and I trust him more at the point than nate.

I think queenie has it right...to complain about the drafting of balk and signing up jeffries can be pointed directly to the emergence of QRich.

Crawford and Marbs starting is good for me...they have a chemistry.
go three guard back there with Francis.

we talked about the 3, and with the front court, rotate your three bigs lee, curry and frye.

James is being showcased for a trade...no doubt about it.

What type of package can we get for francis and jerome? (add in malik for salary matching purposes).

Vince Carter (give up qrich), Ray Allen (toss in nate)...i don't see a trade, but I also don't see a reason for francis and james.

hey, it's not 41 starting rotations and the starters are the starters...to complain about using the roster to the full extent of the law is just a waste of space.

Hey, chicago uses a 12 man rotations in the FIRST QUARTER.

yeah, it looks like it settling down to a 5 man group. the guys left out: frye, jeffries, nate, and balkman.

all 4 of them are 25 and younger. all of them need to be developed. i'm not saying they're good or i like them. all i'm saying is that they are being "deep-freezed" out while isiah plays his guys in steph, craw, q, lee, and curry.

It's hysterical how Isiah has been crying all year about how he couldn't be judged without having a full complement of players available and now that he has it, he refuses to answer questions about how he's going to handle it. The way he talked about it, you would have thought he was planning for this day for quite some time instead of not having a clue.
