Gonna throw this one out there...Steve was okay thru most of the game. He was retarded in OT, esp when we were down 97-95 and he should have done a reverse lay up but kicked out to Matt Harpring instead. Plus the Marbury-Francis subs twice by Isiah in OT.

Should Isiah have put Steve out there in OT? Shouldn't have Stephon been out there, though he was largely ineffective the entire game?

Should Q have held on to the ball for so long with only 3.6 secs left without attempting some type of game winner?

Should Jared Jeffries guard Okur instead of Lee (because Okur KILLED us in regulation).

Should Isiah put Marbs, Francis, JC and Q on the floor at once because it killed our rebounding.

Should Isiah have went away from Curry after he was stripped like three times in a row going from regulation in to OT?

Many questions and few answers. Marbury played "Novemeber-BAD" with the presence of Francis in the line-up.

Any thoughts?

Isiah making this trade in order to get Larry to stop begging, even though he knew Francis would be bad for the team is the same thing as a Mommy buying chocolate for her kid, begging for Chocolate, even though the kid is allergic to chocolate...

Larry Brown as a coach= Kid???? LOL

So why did you wanted to choose a Kid over the mother to run the famiy, if that is the case????

I'm sure Anji really takes offense to what is an ANALOGY. Geez.

Why choose a coach over the General Manager and Team President to run the franchise???? And why would the General Manager and Team President choose the coach over himself????

hey queenie...don't bash lee's defense (and suggest jared?).

you'll start making sense.

but seriously, using francis was a way to a) see what he's got b) let him know what he doesn't got.

if francis gets traded, it's looking like francis, nate and jj1 for ray ray.

it was a strange game where the coach appeared to do the right things but the players really just lost their heads (craw forcing TWO plays into curry and others, francis turnovers, lee frustration).

we will for sure learn from this.

Let's go Knicks. That's amare

We sort of learned this earlier in the year. The ball is a hot potato for Stevie in crunch time. He can help (and he did play well at times in regulation), but we can't use him to close games.

You are losing games, fans are losing patience, your team has sunk to its lowest level of morale, your boss wants results and a hall of fame coach you hired asks for a solid point guard. Orlando agrees to take junk back for Steve Francis. What would you do?

Yeah, you're right. I guess a huge expiring contract and a solid young player is "Junk."

BabyKnicks, the deal you speak of does not include RAY ALLEN (32 yrs old, max deal, knee probs, zero D, Sonics looking for a new arena and do not want to further alienate their fan base by trading their star player, etc, etc, etc).

In fact, there probably is about ZERO chance we make a deal.

HOWEVER, after careful review of our "Ass-ets," the forementioned players, I think that this may be a deal that could be agreed upon with the Sonics of Seattle.

A SOLID YOUNG PLAYER??? AT THAT TIME OF THE YEAR???? Have you forgotten how much Trevor Ariza was stinking it up last year? Dude either you have a short memory or you are hoping we all dont remember how bad Trevor Ariza was doing. And an expiring contract is just that, an expiring contract. But you still havent answered the question bro. At that point in time, in that situation what would you have done? By your blissful ignorance of the question its painfully obvious you know exactly how you would have acted but are too much of a coward to man up. In other words your silence towards the question asked of you gives you away.

That entire post is worthy of my signature. Perhaps, Martin and/or Andrew, one of you can increase the character limit in the signature? I would really enjoy that.

Are you soft between the ears? STEPHON MARBURY, 6'2", bald, tatooed, wears cheap kicks, talk-show host, self-proclaimed best PG in the NBA is on your team already. You draft Special Nate with the 21st pick. Yeah, you NEED Francis and yes, thats what you do, like Isiah needs another exp deal to waste. Larry was talking about a "Andre Miller or Earl Watson" type of PG. You don't just get Steve Francis for ****s and giggles or to simply appease your coach. That's what general mgrs are for. The "build" the team and then find the coach. The coach may not love every player, but if your dad keeps telling you those "scary bed time stories" about the duplicitous Larry Brown forcing Isiah Thomas to make trades for players that have no business being on this roster, you need to wake up! Stephon Marbury with Steve Francis on your team should be the nightmare you would have. Ooops, its a reality and a disaster, at best.

Isiah and Larry both know the personnel on this team and Francis was the "nail in the coffin" (DJSunyc, What Did You Do To My Team, Isiah???. (November 2006). McGraw-Hill; pgs. 60-72.)

Plus you're right, we gave up junk to receive junk and take on an extra $50M over 3 years with Francis. Real smart. GM's are paid to make smart decisions in the best interests of the team, not the coach, the team. GM's sign the trade papers, make the deals, NOT THE HEAD COACH.

And we had TWO exp deals going in to the season that were BOUGHT OUT. Never to be used AGAIN by Isiah Lord Thomas. EVER AGAIN! Why, because Isiah's use of the expiring deals for Larry's guys...Jalen and Francis (its hard to not LAUGH while typing that) were used to get former All-Star Stevie Franchise.

In short, to answer your question:
