we lost that game because crawford got frustrated and francis was getting his legs back under him.

they will learn from this and it may have been worth it to get francis back involved in the team for the stretch run.

I prefer francis over nate at this point and there are 2 games left on this trip.

we dominated the game until the end...it was a good game.

I missed the game last night. Did I miss much? Is there any point in catching it on rewind or should i just look forward to the next game?

It's gonna hurt to watch. The Knicks looked good for most of the game. I'm not sure you want to know more than that.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

yeah, francis and crawford seemed to have some difficulties forcing things down the stretch...I'm gonna watch it again just to torcher myself.

There was a reason isiah said only "no comment" afterwards.

this summed it up...

http://knicks.lohudblogs.com/2007/02/11/what-do-you-say/

It’s the first time I’ve ever seen Isiah Thomas absolutely speechless. And if the league could fine a coach for what he was thinking, I guarantee we’d be talking six figures.

Did you catch the post-game remarks on MSG?

“This is going to be real quick fellows,” he said. “I have absolutely no comment on tonight’s game.”

Ron Garreston, Phil Robinson and Leon Wood are going to be downloading replays and comments from the home office today. And while they might have missed an important call down the stretch, they didn’t commit any of the nine turnovers in the fourth quarter that ultimately did the Knicks in.

From the replays, I think Jamal Crawford was fouled hard enough for a whistle to sound. Even on the road. From the replays, I don’t think David Lee needed to react with anything more than a hopeful backward glance.

Maybe we need to address the importance of reputation.

The officials know Crawford to be impulsive. He was throwing up a desperation shot. Derek Fisher is considered a crafty veteran. He was playing aggressive defense.

Guess who gets the call?

The officials know Lee to be vociferous after whistles. He sometimes lobbies a little too hard for a guy who doesn’t even have two full seasons of NBA experience.

What happens when somebody like that jumps up and down yelling?

Sounds good. I'll expect the loss so there wont be much disappointment.

knicks controlled the game up until 4:41 left in the 4th. they were up 10.

then they crumbled down the stretch and lost. knicks had an attempt at the end where fisher fouled crawford but it wasn't called. those are the breaks.

it was very similar to the type of losses we used to have in 02/03 with h20 and chaney.

Its surprising because this team doesn't give up leads in the 4th. I think we were 16-0 in games we led at the end of the 3rd.

we were 18-0 after the 3rd quarter and 4-0 in overtimes.
both unbeaten records were broken last night.

they have a few days to stew and then it's the lakers-warriors back to back.

rofl...sorry, I guess I slept it off as well, I remember only the good...it was a beat down at one point, then 3 ball, turnover (crawford or curry), 3 ball, turnover (crawford or curry), 3 ball, no call.

for a 7 footer, he's not so intimidating on the defense.

curry, frye, lee - our frontcourt of the future - none of them are intimidating on the defense.

I think Frye will be moved by the start of next season.

I think the turnovers hurt us the most. right when utah started to come back, we had to slow it down, chew up some clock, move the ball, and go for layups or get fouled. instead we were standing around and shooting 3-pointers, then crawford started to force feed curry and steph dribbled the ball off his leg I think. that was basically the end.

Oh man, I hope its not Isiah that makes the deal cause he doesn't have the credibility/good will to get that much back for Frye. A 6'11 PF that can score should bring us atleast a TJ Ford type back. I don't think Isiah can pull that off. I'm not one of those that things Isiah is the devil but I don't have faith in his trades. I dunno why because he isn't that terrible with trades.

babyKnicks: Yeah, its a pain watching them lose. I guess you and Masterplan knew exactly what was coming. I need to do what martin does with his DVR.

The Knicks played a good tough game, Utah is a tough place to go into and win. Knicks played well but the Jazz just played a little bit better. Rough game.
