this summed it up...
http://knicks.lohudblogs.com/2007/02/11/what-do-you-say/ It’s the first time I’ve ever seen Isiah Thomas absolutely speechless. And if the league could fine a coach for what he was thinking, I guarantee we’d be talking six figures. Did you catch the post-game remarks on MSG? “This is going to be real quick fellows,” he said. “I have absolutely no comment on tonight’s game.” Ron Garreston, Phil Robinson and Leon Wood are going to be downloading replays and comments from the home office today. And while they might have missed an important call down the stretch, they didn’t commit any of the nine turnovers in the fourth quarter that ultimately did the Knicks in. From the replays, I think Jamal Crawford was fouled hard enough for a whistle to sound. Even on the road. From the replays, I don’t think David Lee needed to react with anything more than a hopeful backward glance. Maybe we need to address the importance of reputation. The officials know Crawford to be impulsive. He was throwing up a desperation shot. Derek Fisher is considered a crafty veteran. He was playing aggressive defense. Guess who gets the call? The officials know Lee to be vociferous after whistles. He sometimes lobbies a little too hard for a guy who doesn’t even have two full seasons of NBA experience. What happens when somebody like that jumps up and down yelling? [Edited by - babyknicks on 02-11-2007 08:39 AM] Let's go Knicks. That's amare
