this was probably the 30th raptor game i've watched this season.
chris bosh is a superstar. i had some doubts entering the season but he is a superstar.
they play GREAT team ball. lakers sort of took them out of their game by slowing it down. but the raps had a 12 point lead in the 4th. tj ford came in for calderon and the lakers went on an 11-0 run. raps then settled down, hit some big shots and anthony parker and mo pete came up with huge stops on kobe at the end. they missed 3 ft's at the end to make it interesting.
they'll lose tomorrow night vs. the pistons. they'll probably lose to the bulls after that in chicago (maybe) and then they come home for a huge game vs. the nets next week.
DJ I just don't know about doubting this team. They play too good of team ball. Really they should be favored to win on most nights the rest of the way out regardless of the opponent. They didn't even play that good of a first half and they still had control of LA practically the whole game. They are pretty close to becoming the PHX Suns. Their missing a Marion.
i'm not doubting them at all. they are playing GREAT team ball - maybe the best in the east. i think if knicks fans watched them for a good stretch of games, they will come to appreciate their team. it's no fluke their winning games at a bigtime clip.
bosh is a superstar...almost a SU-perduperstar.
calderon is awesome and really knows how to run a team.
tj is good - he needs some work but he's good.
and bargnani - you guys are going to think i'm crazy, but he's going to be DAMN good. like DAMN good offensively.
and their supporting cast is comprised of unselfish hustle players in parker, garbajosa, and rasho (who's doing a GREAT job for them).
everytime i watch them play, i WISH we had a point guard to make everything that much easier for us. marbury's playing solid but he doesn't make the game easier for his team.
