I want to see the Knicks play Toronto again. Last time they met Francis played 30 minutes, Marbury looked like crap and only Eddy and Q really had good games. One of Lee's worst rebounding games, oddly. Still, Toronto only won by 3.

So I want to see them play again, but I think we can catch them. Toronto has a brutal schedule coming up. They play a lot of tough teams, including going out to Detroit, SAN, HOU and at home vs Lakers in the next few weeks.

LOL.......

The raptors are about to go threw the part of the season we had in November. The knicks will have a chance to catch the Dinorsaurs coming down the strech....

Not unless the Raps take a major step backwards or has injury issues.

We are 4 games back and we have three head to head games. Will we win all 3, maybe... it is not out of the question. But catching the raptors is totally in our hands. If we play like we know, there isn't a team we can't beat..........same goes for the Dinosaurs, but Im not a Dinosaur fan.

There was a stretch of games recently when the knicks lost to Washington and the nets. I think it was like 4 straight loses that should have been wins. I thought that was the season right there. If the knicks won those 4 the knicks would be making NJ sweat right now.

I still believe, but its getting thin like a shallow pond in knick land.

it was TWO straight. man, do people like to blow things out of proportion around here. two straight losses on the last possession. yes, it hurt, but it happens to everyone.

It might not have been back to back, but there was 2 other games the knicks lost right after that. I think they best indiana then lost 2. Forgive me, cuz I'm not at a PC.

I still have hope they can pull it out though. Isiah is my uncle.

No. I said before the year started, Toronto would win 42 games, but I think that was an underestimate. Bosh is AWESOME and they have a good, versatile young supporting cast.

i agree that toronto is playing out of their minds. however, we have an easy schedule after all-star break that we can fully take advantage of. toronto has a difficult one but they definately have momentum on their side. they are winning at a decent clip now. they will definately be tested until the end of the season. i think when it is all said and done we will end up fighting for the division with nj instead of toronto.

Actually i believe that the knicks are ranked numnber 10 in the eastern division behind miami and NJ. We don't need to catch tor. we just need to be better than those 2 teams. I think both tor. and NY can make the playoffs. I would like for us to be a head of the raps for the 3rd positon in the playoffs but i would be happy just making it in. so at least we have more than one way into the playoffs.

Give Raps some props. They are good and will get better the 2nd half of the season providing injury does not get them.

The Italian kid is awsome and TJ is still feeling his way around.

The knicks just need to take care of their own business and everything will be ok.

agreed I felt the same especially after that NJ lost. There's a chance but first I have to see them put together a winning streak for the 1st time all year. Wouldn't be that hard if Lee just started and we stuck to a lineup and guys got comfortable in their roles

I'm not sure if a young team like the Raps will get better as the season progresses. Look at Orlando. I've been watching the NBA too long to know that young teams that play well in the beginning to the all star break don't exactly keep it up. 82 games for young team with no experience is a lot tougher than the same for a veteran group like Miami or Detroit.

I can picture a Raptor slump after the break...

raptors may hit a rough patch based purely on talent. but it would be tough to find a team that is playing better as a TEAM in the east right now. everything is clicking. they are passing the ball around, bosh is at the top of his game, and jumpers are falling. both tj ford and calderon (the best pg duo in the league) had double digit assists last night. they truly are running a euro style offense and they have the players to do it. that team is showing big time chemistry. they are surging...but the schedule for them gets VERY tough this month. the real question is can their chemistry and teamwork outweigh the talent discrepency and youth this month?

The schedule for Toronto isn't really that much of a threat when considering they have won 11-4 of their last 15. They suffered a 1pt loss to Phx and a 2pt loss to the Mavs. During that stretch Utah and Ind were the only team to clearly beat them. All they have to do is play .500 ball for the rest of this month and they should be fine. The ? is can the Knicks and New Jersey play well better than .500?

I agree.

The knicks have 32 games left. The knicks have to go 19-13 just to make .500.

The knicks have plenty of good games in them but they have shown is they can have just as many let downs.

Its gonna be tough as hell.

No. Unlike us, Toronto is actually a good team. We're the only team in the league that throws a party when we go .500 for a week.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
