This is why you got to love this guy

"I think Jerome is one of the best defensive big men in the game in terms of the center position," Knicks coach Isiah Thomas said. "I thought he could give Eddy a little more support."

LMFAO I need to get what this guy is drinking!

Did you see the Seattle playoff series where JJ was the difference...He may not be the best but he can be a defensive presence and a difference maker...

The Knicks have nothing like it and need to use him more...

Easy to look good when you're going against a gimply Brad Miller and an otherwise horrendous Kings frontcourt.

How did he look against all star center Dwight Howard...Was that two block shots against Howard?

I see you point holfresh but you gotta admit Isiah is a bit overboard here. Hey izybx, can I get a link please?

If James can do one thing at all he can play decent defense. But its vintage Isiah to say that a tolerable defender is one of the best in the game. But hey, if LB saying Q plays good defense makes him suddenly start playing good defense then Im all for it

Shaq destroyed James in the limited minutes when we last played the heat. Shaq was something like 4-4fgs and 9pts in about 5 min when James was covering him. I know its Shaq but it was only his 3rd or 4th game back from the injury.

Hey, compared to Eddy Curry, Jerome looks like the best defensive center in the game.

Jerome has been injured

Plantar faciitis is no joke. Perhaps he simply needed to he(el) a bit.

Or maybe he's just getting over a hangover.

At Frye and Lee's expense? No thanks. He sucks.

JJ showed me interior presences this team has been lacking all year...He may not the the answer for the future but maybe he can get our guys to be more aggressive on the defensive end if they want more playing time..It was good to see one guy play the role of a man on the interior defensively...Frye and Lee play finesse ball all too often...Was a nice change a la the old Knick teams...

There is room to get him 15 mins a game from Curry,Lee,Frye and JJ skinny if he is going to be a defensive presence...

I know he's not ideal, but we should use James in the Zo/Motumbo role.

2 years ago he was the league leader I think in BPM.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

i think cato is a better option than james...the only reason zeke is playing jj is to prove he isnt that big of a bust....cato just got thhe minimum..and the problem with james is that wwen his guy is shooting outside the paint he leaves him uncontested..while cato goes after the man...example the charlotte game were dlee had the tip....he was guarding brezec and played him well b4 cato went in he was in fire...but cato proved to be the difference

So you're saying that the 2 people you love are JJ and Holfresh.

Chris Dudley is better than Jerome James.... And that's sad.
