Enough is enough. The team is horrible. I've really gotten to the point where this team makes me sick. The "franchise player" does one thing, and one thing only. Frye is a lost cause, he can forget about all the all-star nonsense, the guy can't even go to Vegas for the Rookie Challenge. My mother's back is better than Q's. My little cousin's FG % is higher than Jamal's. Please, for the sake of the city and its loyal fans, leave us Isiah and don't ever think twice about returning. I don't care who gets our pick, let them have it, and may they be successful since we can't.

PLEASE ISIAH, JUST GO AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

I've been saying tank for the last 3 seasons. If we had it would have been nice building around something like Deng, Bynum, Roy, Lee, Marcus, Balkman, our lottery pick this year and cap space sooner rather than never.

Really makes you wonder...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Tanking when there is a reasonable expectation of getting a franchise guy.. i can abide.

I can't abide tanking to satisfy an impatient fickl[e] fan base. Feel free to stop watching the Knicks if you can't take it anymore.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

How does tanking satisfy an impatient fickle fan base?

I never condone tanking. That's what we did last year and it got us Balkman and Collins. What I do condone is if you are going for a youth movement go for a friggin youth movement. Make every move with the intention of building around a core of young players. Every move. Every substitution, every trade, everything. NOne of this half-asse crap we do.
I just hope that people will like me

I thought he wanted Isiah fired for his pathetic half ass approach to rebuilding.

And if you don't like the building, you can always move out. Chill in the suburbs for a while, let the exterminiators come into MSG and fumigate. Come back when its safe. I'll keep the light on for ya.

To me--all IT had to do was draft Marcus Williams during the offseason and I would've given him some more leeway--now Balkman is a fine pick--but we could've taken our chances that he wouldve lasted to 29. Marcus is starting to look more and more like a real stud--I thought he was the 2 or 3rd best player in the draft.

But the balkman pick to me epitomizes IT--he will do what he wants to do--going against the grain--trying to make himself look like the mad basketball science--he still is looking for $$ and glory--look at almost all of our acquisitions--it many respects its the same thing every time.
thats why i dont think he is a good manager
i mean look
jefferies--no one wants
j james--no one wants
curry--bad heart scares all teasm off leaving the knicks winners by default--iT a genius? no--terrible negotiater and had a blank check
crawford--still the same dude he can score 50 like he has in the past and the next night 3-14
q-?
lee-good pikc
frye--he overrated
nate--i still like nate but he isnt for this team
mardy collins--scks
im not going to get into mo taylor v Baker Tim Thomas that they push under the blanket.

Totally agree. Thats why I cringe when I see Malik and JJ taking off the warmups. Frye, Balk, Lee Curry all need to get meaningfull minutes night in night out. Francis should be moved for a shorter deal....etc.

I agree, we should not tank to satisfy the fans.

Rather, we should tank to guarantee Isiah does not return to this team after this season. We simply cannot move forward as long as he is here.

Dolan may be the underlying problem, but he is not going anywhere. That is a fact. Isiah, on the other hand, could be gone if we lose enough games. That is also a fact.

There is some underlying purity in sports, somewhere is the glory that you go out and play your hardest no matter what even is your hardest means bloody defeat. A lot has changed over the years but I still get a sense of this, even in the worst of times. Tanking for any reason, is against all that is sacred in sports. I would hate to see it.

Do your best and let the chips fall.

Wow, that was heavy....

Fair enough. Please allow me to rephrase then:

I agree that the Knicks should not "tank." In other words, no, they should not lose games on purpose.

However, this fan will be rooting HARD for them to lose as many games as possible the rest of this season, looking forward to the day when Isiah Thomas is unemployed yet again.

Ok then.

But really, in a tight game, lot of lead changes, down to the wire... will you really be able to root against them, especially if you (one) is at The Garden. Probably not.

I am, however, morally capable of throwing popcorn at him...

Absolutely, 100 percent I will be rooting for them to lose. I am not kidding. Enough is enough. The guy is an albotross preventing this team from advancing. He drafted David Lee, which was great. But can anyone say with absolute conviction that anything else this guy has done has been a 100 percent positive? Curry might be looking better, but we still gave up too much for him when no one else was willing to take him.

The man is a bad coach and bad GM, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get rid of him -- including rooting hard for the team to lose -- because firing Isiah is the real Step 1 in the rebuilding process.
