No way TMS.. he was a stiff, and deff grabbed less rebounds than Curry... but he blocked shots.(1.3 for his career) Bzzzz sorry!

please, defensively the guy was an absolute stiff... you could dribble & drive right past him... if he weren't standing right in front of you, he was useless as a defender.

eddy curry may be lacking in defense but there surely must be plenty of centers in all of nba history that have been worse defensively. a better question would be name a worse defensive center that was a starter.

anyway I think zaza pachulia is a worse defender.

It could be that. Or it could be "which center is a worse passer" or it could be "which center turns it over more" or it could be "which center rebounds as poorly"... But we could focus on that ONE positive he does possess, sure

man, i don't need to look at the stats... i've watched plenty of games where the Knicks took it right to Smits in the lane & got him into early foul trouble... he was a stiff on defense, plain & simple.

i'm not arguing that Curry's a weak defender dude... but to say he's the worst of alltime is a little ridiculous to me.
