Seriously, I see Mark Jackson on the list - he had some skillz - Rod Strickland,Charlie Ward & David Lee.

Those are the high points.

Those are the type of draft picks you make when you already have a franchise player.......which we did up until 2000...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Maybe an IT Grunfeld wouldve worked--IT to draft EG the big $ decisions in the pros.

He's saying, Isiah Thomas to draft, Ernie Grunfeld to make the big $ decisions.

What was I thinking??? *slaps head*

It makes sense.

btw, Is Dick McGuire still employed as a scout for the Knicks. They have had a long history of poor drafts, and the guy kept his job. Maybe he had some compromising pics or something.

Correction: Those are the type of draft picks you make when you already have a franchise player AND are bad at drafting a supporting cast!

They're the kind of picks you make when you don't have a clue.

better yet, not even package those picks to try and move up.

outside of ewing and riley, this organization has made a countless number of errors for the past 30 years.

To be fair, the only notables after John Wallace in that draft were...

20. Big Z
24. D. Fisher
26. JYD
30. O. Harrington
33. Moochie Norris
37. J. McInnis
44. Malik Rose

I guess we could have gotten the Big Z and D. Fisher.

The one draft that kinda hurt us is the 2003 draft. Thanks Layden.

Instead of Sweetney, we could have gotten any of the following..

10. Jarvis Hayes
11. Pietrus
12. Collison
13. Marcus Banks
14. Ridnour
21. Diaw
25. Delfino
28. Barbosa
29. J. Howard

I was really pining for Collison, Pietrus, Barbosa, Diaw and Lampe...Ha Ha Ha..Lampe...Hey, no one is perfect.
