I have been noticing that the media are more and more making statements that I have seen other posters make on this forum. It could be just coincidence or that the things we talk about are so obvious that the reporters reach the same conclusions that we do. However, I often wonder if these guys are coming here and reading the posts and pulling their stories from what we talk about.

Man, I've been saying this shizat for a few years. I remember I made a Marbury for Sam Dalembert proposal and talked about it now and then for the next couple of months. Soon enough, I see on the MSG network that there was a possible Marbury for Dalembert trade proposal and Isiah shot it down big time. WHAT???

I wouldn't doubt it at all. I mean we are the readers. So im sure writers would like to know our thoughts on subjects before they write.

All lot of writers could use that to get readers on there side, If they write an article agreeing with what the majority of the people on the message boards say. Then they will get more liked and respected by the majority. Which will make some follow there work more.

Not that they soley use us to shape how they write an article. But im sure we are part of it.

I equate this very much to the commentary of one said Steven A. Smith.

They want people to read their articles. If we are talking about it, why not write about it. I'm sure they go to all the sites to add "spice" to their stories. Add to that the fact that a lot of our stuff is common sense and obvious. We just argue about it anyway.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I know some writers and some players stop by. And I am sure they glean the other Knicks sites too. Full stories? Don't know about that. Hot topics? Sure.

We need to start taking more heed to what Oohah says then.

Lupica's last article that DJ posted where he said Isiah is talking to Dolan and not the media or the fans...I'm can't say another sports writer didn't come up with this, but I do know it's been the theme of some posters here..

When the sportswriters start referring to themselves as the "media mafia" we know we've got 'em.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Well, I noticed that Vecsey's recent article talked about not judging this team on last year's record, which is a point that several people talk about all the time and is something I had not really seen other writers say. Additionally, issues don't seem to become hot in the media until after we have talked about them dozens of times. For instance, the whole issue with David Lee not starting was never discussed until posters here started complaining about Lee not starting. We were talking about that for weeks and now every story I see about the Knicks is talking about how IT is crazy for not starting Lee. It could all be coincidence, but I think this site is driving some of the stories that we read about. It really is not that big of a deal. If I were a reporter, I would probably look at these sites too. It was just an interesting point I wanted to raise.
