Marbury Jamal Q Lee Frye

that is a pretty decent lineup

If curry does not play we better see some KATO vs. Shaq

Jeffries and QRich provide defense, lee slides to the 4 and frye plays center.

Just because you say it's ridiculous doesn't make it so.

With one solid defender on the floor against wade and jwill and shaq, that's ridiculous.

We need two solid wing defenders and a rebounder.

Jeffries, QRich and Lee give us that.

First of all.. Since when does Jeffries provide us defense? I havent seen any evidence of it all year.

Secondly im tired of playing the "we have to matchup to them" game. How abotu make them matchup to us. Starting Jeffries means they dont have to even worry about 1 player on the floor. With Jamal out there, they have to worry about everyone.

I'd like a little more defense in the starting lineup, that's all.

I think defense leads to easy buckets.

I want one more defender (long defender) to help out and keep the other teams offense in check.

I'm not basing all of my decisions on the opening quarter against the heat on Monday.

Lee should slide into the starting lineup and Frye should shift to center.

Bring crawford off the bench, it's obvious he's not paying attention to anything until the second half, so why even bother starting him?

I think the knicks will win tonight.

hey if Jeffries got his head out of his ass and did what he came here to do (play defense) with any kind of passion, I would agree with you. But look at the numbers Jamal plays about twice as good starting even vs. Miami when he had that big 2nd half.. he started the 2nd half. I just think its worth it to give jamal the start, plus he gets the ball to Eddy really well

I think eddy is toast for tonight, and with eddy toast, let's see frye and lee together and let q and jeffries cover their backs.

If marbs is hurt, then we have the young athletic run squad.

Isiah is an idiot. Why would you have Frye guard Shaq? Why not actually utilize the 18 fouls you got in Jerome, Cato, and Malik?

Isiah should just start Malik on Shaq.

The last time they played each other Malik grabbed Shaq's quote "Little Man" and Shaq lost his mind. Maybe Malik can try the same stunt again and get Shaq thrown out of the game. lol

anyways, I think if Jeffries is going to have any kind of impact with this team tonight is the night.

If he has any balls/heart he will show it tonight and play his best game of the season... If he dissapears again... I'd be really worried if im zeke

Heres the thing. Jeffries isn't the kind of player that's going to play his best game of the year because he's getting blasted, he doesn't have those kind of skills to back himself up like that. Jeffries is a classic role player and his value is coming off the bench playing with the right bunch of guys. Until Zeke plays him in that situation, he's just setting Jeffries up to fail.

This is what pisses me off most right now listening to Isiah talk about Jared. Isiah makes it sound like he signed a 20pt/10rebound guy last year with the midlevel exception. The only way you can gauge Jeffries play right now is by his hustle and his defense because he is not a skill player, both of which are based alot on rhythm and that right now is something that Jeffries doesn't have ANY of. Playing him 4 minutes in a game isn't going to show any of skills and since he's coming back from injury, I doubt his conditioning is where it needs to be.

Jeffries game will thrive when hes played with the right group of guys, on this team I think it's Lee/Balkman/Crawford/Frye. Give Jeffries a chance with that lineup and I think you'll see a better player. Now the next question is, why would Isiah ever play that lineup and it's a valid question but Isiah should have thought about what Jeffries brings or doesn't bring to the table before he signed him. You cant expect to just sign Jeffries and think you are going to get all kinds of production out of him, he's not that kind of player.
