lee can be the team mvp easily if given minutes like tonight.

I've been saying for a long time that he's the best player on this team by far. He needs 38 mpg at a minimum.

And his defense is not as bad as Curry's or Frye's also. People are way off on that one. Lee actually moves his feet on D and tries to keep players in front of him. He looked much better (less bad) against JO than Frye or Curry did.

Jalen Rose also said he was the best player on the Knicks. He certainly deserves minutes more than Frye and Jeffries.

David lee is just a solid role player, This site drinks WAY to much (lee)Kool-Aide.

Why Isiah kind of things the same way of Lee is beyond me.Im willing to be bet that what ever team Lee is on in practice usually wins, that's the kind of player Lee is.

The best thing to happen to the Knicks tonight was Frye picking up two quick fouls to get Lee in there right away.

As long as Marbury, Q, Lee and Curry start, I do not have a strong opinion on who the fifth starter should be. But to not start Lee is a crime at this point.

I've said it a million times: Teams that are on pace for 34 wins do not have the luxury to bring one of their best players off the bench. We need our best players out on the floor to start the game. And since all four of those players play different positions, what is the problem??

If it were guaranteed that Lee would get 38 minutes off the bench, then I'd be much more OK with it. But he tends to get around 30 minutes when he comes off the bench, which is ridiculous. Tonight he got the extra minutes because of foul trouble, and look at what he did.

Anyone at this point who does not think Lee should start simply is either not watching or is in denial. The guy gets it done every night and keeps getting better.

Briggs since you started the thread i quess your taking credit for lee. Funny i remember last year you actually wanted to trade lee. I had a discussion with you praising lee and you said he would be nothing more than a decent player. Memories are very selective around here sometimes.
