If we could trade Jefferies & Frye for Artest then start Lee - we're the best team in the East.

I really think if the Kings are desperate enough to move him and considering not too many teams don't want to take a chance, a Jefferies & Frye deal makes alot of sense for both teams.
I'll even through in
I like Frye but I don't think he'll make the type of impact that either Artest or Lee for that matter can make.

No need to trade for a power forward like JO or even Garnett when we have Lee around.

Malik Rose can back him up and we draft a young 4 in the draft.

8 man rotation

Pg: Marbury, Crawford
Sg: Q-Rich,(Crawford)
Sf: Artest, Balkman
Pf: Lee, M.Rose
C: Curry, (Lee)

throw in Nate for the entertainment factor... we dont need the guards.

Hell.. the Pacers just moved Harrington, their big offseason signing.

I'm 100% on board with this one. Good trade. Easy for Kings to justify, easy for us. Gives us a VERY nice 8 man rotation.

Marbury
QRich
Artest
Lee
Curry
Crawford, Balkman, Cato
Thats it
You still have Mardy and Malik if someone gets hurt or in foul trouble. If you want to fill out the roster sign Frank Williams

Isiah isn't going to coach Artest again. Of course I'd love for Artest to work here, but I think he'd implode in NY.

I know a lot of you don't want Artest here but this is the best trade idea I've heard in a while. A frontcourt of Curry, Artest and Lee?......"I'd buy that for a dollar"

I feel that Frye will be another Kurt Thomas without the consistant rebounding and Balkman already can do what Jeffries does and can probably do it better, even if it didn't work out (Artest factor), we still have a good core group.

I'd definitely do this trade. Makes the Knicks a well rounded team. Artest would give them a better defender than Jeffries and is still three-times better on offense.

This makes too much sense to actually happen for us.

I like this trade. Not only will Artest and Lee be a dynamic rebounding and defensive forward duo but Artest's outside shot will open up Eddy along with QRich.

Curry, Lee, Artest, Q and Dinglebury will be downright scary for opposing teams.

What is the over under for when Artest scares Marbury into the trainer's room?

Seriously I love the trade, I am more worried about having to be led by Marbury and Artest.

givem jefferies and 1 of lee or frye...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

trade lee (tweener, sell high) and jeffries for artest.

keep the 7 footer frye and couple him with curry and artest.

our bench gets thin, but the starting lineup is ..
marbs, q, artest, frye, curry

and the bench is balkman, crawford, malik.

i'd rather trade malik, but if you guys feel we can get by without frye, we can definitely get by without lee.
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I would be scared of Artest being here b/c I don't think he could handle it. But I would do the trade if it got rid of Jeffries' contract. After Artest explodes, we can let him go and start Balkman at SF and help our cap situation tremedously. And on the off chance Artest does not explode, he is a huge upgrade over Jeffries and Frye.
Trust the Process

I can see now you havent watched a KNick game all year.

Maybe Jerome could move into a bigger role?

Jerome's so wide he counts as two players.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Frye would be perfect on the Kings- polished big man that has an outside shot.

Isiah knows artest- will trust his judgment- but if you could get him for Frye and Jeffires- that sounds like a no brainer trade for a 'no brainer'!

With Marbury playing d like he has been, you have Marbury, Q and Artest- suddenly our perimeter D isn't so weak any more.

Deal balances things out.
If we could trade Jefferies & Frye for Artest then start Lee - we're the best team in the East.
