1. Wee need a shot blocker.

Our number one need amongst all others is a shot blocker. Its a glaring weakness on a night to night basis.... I feel pretty much comfortable with every area of this basketball team besides our ability to block or alter shots in the paint. As evidence from tonights last few plays where we gave up a floater and a Dunk.

Who was caught off gaurd on both those 2 plays? (onto my next point) Jarred Jeffries

2. Jarred Jeffries is completely USELESS

This guy is here for his perimiter defense. And i have been watching him closely lately, his perimeter defense is NOT GOOD. Its supposed to be "good" at least... to start at the 3 spot with absolutely NO OFFENSIVE GAME your D has got to be GREAT... now its not great.. its not even good.. its NOT GOOD.

So what is the point of him ? Jamal obviously is having trouble starting... and I honestly think Jamals D has been decent lately... so let the man play.

I don't know what to do really to get a shotblocker... I would consider trading Frye for one... but besides that i actually feel this team is pretty damn good.

I agree, I officially hate jeffries. My theory is that IT was trying to be nice to Jeffries because he is close to him and he figured that Washington would match the offer and he would just be helping out his friend. He let bias get involved in his player evaluation of Jeffries.

They have to get more consistent scoring from Frye.

Those tech's happened in the firts Q. In no way did they effect the outcome of the game.

He thought Jeffries would be in the mode of a "Tayshaun Prince"...I think. Its just amazing that we actually take the damn lead w/ 12.1 secs to go and then we give up a shot like that. RIGHT UNDER THE BASKET. That has got to be the worst part about it. AND Jeffries was RIGHT THERE. The one that should have been boxing out Butler.

Also, the fact that we had ZERO timeouts left was not good clock management by Zeke. You know we are on the road and you know we are playing against a team of shooters so the way the game was going, he should have reserved that 20 sec timeout.

They lost by 1 point. I'm pretty sure giving away 2 points had some kind of effect on the outcome of the game.

I think that Isiah the coach sees what everybody sees and is fighting with Isiah the GM in his mind. That's why even though JJ2 and Frye start, they are no where to be found at the end of the game and in the second half most of the time. I am hoping he completes this trian of though and just moves those two to the bench. So when we start the game and the third quarter we have our best and strongest team on the floor. I really think we should have been up like ten in the first quarter.

Every missed shot, every turnover, and every poorly defended play did as well. That happens in every close game, but as stupid as the techs were, you can't really say that they would have won if they didn't occur.

My point, exactly. Bottom line, were up 1 with 12 seconds left, get a stop!

we should never have given the ball back with 12 seconds- not with how lethal Arenas has been.

I'd rather have lost with no time, than lost the way we did.

We also were up by one point with 37 seconds left. Jamison got in to the lane EASILY then. Why was Curry not out there in favor of Jared? Plus, why did we double on Arenas??? I would have rather had him taken a tough shot than the BS at the end right under the bucket with Butler.

I'm merely saying that the techs didn't have a unique impact on the outcome of the game.

But Jeffries came packaged as one of the upper level defenders of the game. Everyone knew that. Friendship or no friendship has nothing to do with it, other than getting him on our team, but he does come with that reputation. Are you talking about one' game here?

I have to agree with that. Only thing about that last possion is if you ranked who you wanted to shoot it, it would have went Haywood, Stevenson, Jamison, Butler, Arenas.......... Lee shouldn't have doubled that hard, he is having a horrible game, let him guy shoot. Hibachi

I been watching Frye. And your right, he just hasn't taken it to that next level yet. I think it's the second year jinx that he's dealing with. And if he get's injured on more time, I think there will be a question there that he'll need to erase himself.
I'll never trust this' team again.
