Hi everybody, I'm new in this place. Have been watching you guys for a long time before I decided to join, you're the best forum on Knicks by far. I'm from far away, all the way from Africa and can only very occasionally see a Knicks match on TV and only @ 03.00h, which has cost me several promotions on my job but that's what love does to you I guess. Have only been once in NYC but can't forget the place, it's magic . Embrace me you kings of hoops

Embrace me
did you just ask for a hug? If so the guy you want is islesfan.

Welcome... on a side note whats up with the lack of African imports? Is it me or has that well dried up some? Diop? Malik Badiane?

Which country are you from/living in? Whats the basketball scene like there?

You dont just start willy nilly with this "hey I'm new, welcome me" crap.

We want information!!!

Oh.. cheers, and good to have you :)

Welcome alexs, we need more input from the outside looking in.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Thanks for the welcome Fish,
There is African talent, no doubt but there's a few obstacles Im afraid. Soccer is much more "sexy" than BB, secondly even if the talent is available there is no infrastructure or coaches to really nuture it. Africans that made it came through American or European systems I'm afraid. I'm from Nairobi, Kenya, great place for safaris, boring for BB.
Don't need the hug, thanks although I like Isles

Dj,
Lee of course, Q, I think Curry will be great, Balkman and even mardy will be ok I think.
Frye is talented and might be forced to play out of position and theerfore not always look at his best, but he does that well, I think he's a team player but I would trade him for a better defender though. Marbs is good but expensive in many ways, I find him high emotional maintenance and he's not the leader you build around. The rest nah but Cato seems to be a good influence on Curry, which is positive. Can't say Isiah has done a great job, some of the trades are simply unbelievable really. Has drafted OK but overall he spent way too much many at mediocre talent really. On the other hand he might just be making real progress with the guys he brought in. I am patient but it's high time to go the next level and that includes winning 3 in a row from time to time and make the garden hell for the visitors, we're not there yet. I'm more appreciative of his approach to coaching than Mr Ego Brown though.

Welcome Alexs. You sound right on the money!
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

You sound very knowledgable, rationale and well spoken.

You obviously have no place on this board.

Between Alexs (Africa), Darkknicks (Spain), Frenchknicks (France), Firefly (UK), Nalod (Outer Space) and others I'm sure -- we're covering a lot of ground.
