Ummm, no Dwight Howard?

Um Dwight is clearly a better player. If they have him on the ballot as a C, he beats Eddy unquestionably, fair or not.

1) Dwight
2) Emeka
3) Bosh
4) JOneal
5) Curry

the fact that Curry can be mentioned in the same breath with those guys is nice.

Is that a prediction or guys you think deserve to go? Because Shaq and Pierce have each missed like half the season, but if it's a prediction, you're probably right - the NBA wants its names at the game. I don't know if Billups will make it either at this rate.

yeah, I agree with DJ, I think Hinrich or Deng over Billups.

Yeah good point DJ that's why I listed Josh Howard. He helped carry the team a few games while Dirk was out and he's having a stellar season. Deng has done similar statistically at least. It's interesting how Ben Gordon never gets mentioned and he plays off the bench.

hinrich is having a subpar year - at least according to people in chicago.

deng has been their most consistent player and the forward spot in the east is relatively thin. if anything, maybe joe johnson doesn't make it.

crzy, it's a prediction for the most part but aside from the players who are most likely to be voted to start, I think the players I chose are deserving.

If Pierce does come back soon as he's supposed to, I think he'll play more than enough games to be deserving.

Obviously Shaq doesn't deserve it since he's only played 4 games this season but he's going to get voted in and since it looks like he's coming back at the end of this month I assume he'll be ready for the all star game.

In terms of players deserving the spots, Caron Butler, deserves it more than both Joe Johnson and Paul Pierce combined. Take Shaq off that list too. Emeka Okafor deserves it more too, since Shaq hasn't even played. Even Curry is a better choice than Shaq.

In terms of the west, looking at Islesfan's list, I don't disagree with him, but I think there are players more worthy. Yao Ming deserves it, but he's injured. It's just really the same old boring names.

Deng definitely threatens to make the all star team but I don't think he'll make it. I think Joe Johnson is a definite.

i don't think fans should be voting for the Allstar team nominees... they should only vote among those players that are nominated by the sportswriters who cover these teams & the coaches & are able to make the ballot... players like Shaq who've only played in 4 games don't deserve to be on the ballot at all, much less voted in by the fans.

You're right, Butler definitely deserves more consideration. He's on par with Johnson and Pierce. On second thought I wouldn't blink an eye if he made it over either of those two.

Shaq is going to be voted in so there's no point in arguing his inclusion.

I'm caught in between here concerning injured players who more than likely would be All-Stars but overall I agree with you the process has no Integrity.
