Haven't been watching the games lately, or really following aside from checking the standings every few days.


How's the team doing?


I noticed Curry is dropping 18 a game for the season, not bad, although I honestly think the guy is a 1 trick pony and is setting all the idealists up for disappoinment -- guys a scorer, not an All Star.


Anyway, let me know if something interesting happens.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Agreed. Eddy's just a role player not a star or even very good player. (His role is to score from within 5 feet and anything else is just a bonus.)

What's Eddy good at besides that one thing (scoring from within 5 feet)? Does one good skill make you a good basketball player?

If that one skill is dominating the paint to the point where you commanding double teams (easy shots for your teammates) and putting other teams bigs in foul trouble then yes, it makes you a good player. Being dominate on one end of the floor makes you a good player. Being dominate on two ends of the floor makes you a great player.

He's a CENTER, wake up and smell the coffee !! No one is saying he's the next Ewing, Hakeem, or admiral (who actually had a J).

Shaq doesn't "only score from 5 feet." Shaq rebounds well, passes very well, and blocks and alters shots.

Curry's not good at the offensive end. He's good at ONE thing on the offensive end. He's awful at passing and free throw shooting and ineffective at setting screens.

Curry's a talented young C that alot of teams in the NBA would love to have... it's a pity you as a Knick fan can't appreciate him based on that alone & have to always look for a reason to rag on the decision to trade for him... this is a far, FAR cry from people who bash on supposed franchise players like Marbury, who have been a cancer on every team he's played on over his career... Curry is a developing young talent who's shown improvement this year & will garner some Allstar consideration... when's the last time we could say the same about a Knick C since Marcus Camby?
