i could really care less. Isiah doesnt disipline him so I would expect more of the same when he gets back. I would like to see Marbury's minutes cut a bit. He's been playing good 2-way ball and if we want to play anything more than the .400 whatever ball we are playing we need him with good legs. NAtes played well in bursts... hopefully the time off helped.

Nate needs to get about 10 to 13 minutes a game that's about it. Hopefully Isiah will not start this nonsense again with this three guard rotation with Q and Curry to end games.

What I hope is that guys that have been playing continue to play good basketball so isiah won't have to make stupid moves and just totally break my balls.

Give him a break. He's young and I think he will learn big time from the suspension. He is a great offensive talent off the bench and one of our best outside shooters. We need him.
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Nate is needed, he's young and inexperienced but he will be fine and will develop into a good player. We need all high energy guys.

It depends on how he's used. If he can open up the court by hitting some outside shots, he'll help.

Nate is a circus act and I'm sick of his bravado attitude that hurts the Knicks more times than not.

Nate can give us some solid minutes off the bench. His outside shooting will help too. Who knows, maybe he learned his message.

Nate robinson will comeback and be a game breaker with his point per minute games and three point shooting.

We need his outside shooting most definitely. With Q hurt, Nate may be our best outside shooter. We just need him to play under control and make good decisions on the court. Also, his defense needs to pick up. Last year, he was a solid defensive player but earlier this season he looked awful on defense. He needs to pick it up on the defensive end.

The key question is not what Nate can provide to the team. We all know what he brings. The key question is who's minutes he takes away and how does that effect our chemistry or that individual player's comfort level on the court. This remains to be seen. Maybe it allow's Marbs a chance to rest and provides him fresh legs down the stretch. Or maybe it takes him out of his rythm. Maybe it provides us with a spark off the bench that helps with wins. Maybe it is just a show on offense that really hurts us on defense. That remains to be seen and is part of the questions I asked in the pre-season. IT will have to do some magic to control ego's and get the right people on the court. He's done a solid job of this, this year and hopefully this can continue.

I think QUentin is coming back the next game too. If anything, HE is gonna help a lot.

I agree with you bip, but in all reality it should be a game time decision on how many minutes he gets. If steph an JC are playing well, then 10 to 13 minutes sounds about right, and It also should be base on match ups as well.

Most Players usually play well when ther minutest are consistant , and when stephs minutes are sporadic and inconsistant
just like Curry and fry, there games are usually out the window. So i feel that nothing significant should happaen unless force into doing it.

I like Nate you take the good with the bad. I dont want the Knicks to trade him or Lee ever. You got to have players who you LIKE on your team.

Like when/if the Knicks win a Championship - who do you want to see celebrating poppin champaigne in a Knicks uniform? NATE, Lee and Frye. Thats who!

The good play of Craw and Marbury is from the lack of NateFran.

Nate 15 min a game is good for me.

Nate is like a football player sacking the QB and dancing around when down 3 touchdowns late in the 4th quarter.

The cute hyper "special" bravado thing is old aready. Bring it on and be cool. Nothing more.

It's a tough balancing act. Before Q went down he was one of our more valuable players, but we've also played well without him. So where does he fit? Who's minutes does he take away? Both him and Nate may steal minutes from guys that actually deserve and need more minutes. I personally would give Q priority over Nate because he gives us things we don't have. He can give us a size advantage in teh backcourt, rebounding from the guard position and an extra perimeter defender up front. As much as I love Nate to me he doesn't provide antyhing more than jamal or Steph. I'm with 1248 I think he will be the one guy that will have to get sporadic minutes so that the rest can get consistent ones. Give him tiem when we need a spark, or someone is tired, or our shots aren't falling. But I can't say he should be guaranteed significant minutes. Someone has to sit. Those 3 and 4 guard line-ups should be erased from memory IMO.
