Did anyone else hear Clyde say that? He commended Marbury's balanced game and his defense.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

He said he's played the best ball of his career TONITE.

He played spectacular in every facet of the game. Props are given where props are due. He played great tonight, I hope he keeps it up.

No NYK, I just rewound it and Clyde's exact words were:

"Stephon playin' the best ball of his career to me"

Rewind again, I don't have Tivo. I know I heard a "tonite" in there at some point.

I'm sorry, but I believe you heard "To Me" as "Tonight"

Look at the sentence, if he had said: "Stephon Playin' the best ball of his career tonight". That would mean that Clyde thought Stephon had the best game of his career tonight.

I don't think recently is the best Marbury has ever played, but it is certainly some of the best defense he has ever played.

I'm pretty sure that's what he said though. I'm not saying I'm right, I just thought thats what he said. "Stephon playing the best ball of his career tonite"

Really it's not worth arguing over and over analyzing. Stephon played great tonight.

Marbury's actually averaged 20.5 PPG and 7.0 APG in the last 11 games. I thought he was finished before this streak. And like everyone else has said, his defense has been much better. He's a huge reason the team is 6-5 in that stretch.

Marbury was great today. Outstanding defense on Allen, albeit we did double and triple team him, but either way, that is what everybody does to him, and he is still lighting people up. So Marbury gets mad props from me.

I hope he keeps this up, this team goes as he goes, which should not be surprising, he is still the best player we have, at least talent wise.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I was at the game tonight, and his defense was outstanding. He moved the ball really well, and threaded the needle on many occasions. He and the team looked very content.. happy with each other. Jerome James, of all people, is a very well liked teamate. Balkman, Jeffries, Frye, and Big snacks seem to get along well with each other. When they we were yelling " we want Jerome!" ..Isiah turned to him to see if he wanted to go in. He shook his head emabarrased and said no. Frye and Jeffries turned to him and were like.. dude.. get in there. It was funny anyways.

Who cares what Clyde said? I don't think he has much credibility in this area.

I said some time ago the team goes as Marbury goes and that start with defense. You know ED-DY is giving you zero help if your man gets by you, so the perimeter defense is so critical.

Clyde's right. And I think we have to give both Brown and Isaiah credit. He's finally made up his mind to play the game right and it's starting to show.

I personally think Marbs has been playing great. His d has been solid and his floor game is better than I've seen it as a Knick. He still overdribbles at times. But he is definitely running the offense and picking and choosing his spots. Compared to the rest of his time with the Knicks I can't complain with his effort right now.
I just hope that people will like me
