I remember many Knicks fans wanted to get Magloire on this team. Do people still prefer Magloire over Curry?

I think I would prefer our two picks back (tank this year) and have his contract gone.

I would rather have Curry over Magloire and who ever was taken last year no question hands down.

did LaMarcus Aldridge really look better than Curry?

if we lose out on Oden, alright that hurts, but ask the 97-98 Celtics or the 02-03 Grizzlies how well tanking works out - it's not a sure thing.

Curry is the better player.

I'm gonna say the following and I'm gonna get grilled, oh well. I'd still rather have the two picks back, the one last year could have been Brandon Roye or Adam Morrison. This year we could get Oden, Roy Hibbert, or Nick Fazekas.

Just my opinion.

Hibbert can barely stand upright on his own power...

Where do you come up with this crap from? Who wanted Magloire over Curry? When did we even talk about Magloire and Curry at the same time? Last time he was mentioned was when we had Mohamed, and most people agreed he was like the same player, maybe worse.

Whats next, "hey, those who waned Shanderson over Lee, you still want that?"
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

No people did say they wanted Magloie on this team because he played defense. YOu don't remember last year when Curry played like trash? Also I don't remember people saying Magloire was trash.

Please, there was a,"Start Jerome James"Movement atthe beginning of the year. Who hasn't been mentioned as a better or a center they would rather have by "those" people, before CUrry had the 20 point streak????

Shawn Bradley and Cavlin Booth.....

Hey, hey, hey. No hating on Shawn Bradley. He was dunked on by many of the greats in this sport.

Stop saying Aldrige how about Randy Foye or Brandon Roye, Foye is going to be a superstar scorer in this league something everyone is creaming their pants for, so yes if i had a chance to do it all over again and have the knicks miss the playoffs this year and get two lottery picks and have cap flexibility i would take it......we are not really close to anything right now with curry playing like an allstar are we?

To me NONE of these guys that have come out are more dangerous than Curry. Howard is a better all around player, but Curry is downright punishing inside. Guys just can't hold him back if they don't send multiple guys at him. Curry has pretty much stopped bowling guys over. You can tell that he's not using all of his strength on his moves. He's learned how to used his girth much better now.

When we finally add some shooting around him, he's gonna be a big force in this league. So no I wouldn't take the trade back just because there have been some nice players who've come out in the last draft. Heck we still don't know for sure if Oden is coming out or if we'd even get him. Curry is good enough for me, if we can continue to build this team around him and get him to improve on his passing.

1. Kevin Durant, F, Texas
Greg Oden may be the consensus No. 1 pick in the draft because he's a center, but he's not the best freshman in the country. That honor goes to Durant. You'll have to go back to Carmelo Anthony to find a more dominant freshman in a major NCAA program.

Durant has been nothing short of spectacular in almost every area of the game. He can score both inside and out, and has been nearly a double-digit rebounder despite his wiry frame and outside-in game. He's been a fearless leader on the court and has drawn comparisons, from some scouts, to Kevin Garnett with a jump shot. Barring injury, he's a lock for the No. 2 pick in the draft and will likely go No. 1 if Greg Oden decides to stay at Ohio State as a sophomore.

2. Greg Oden, C, Ohio State
He's only played five games and is doing it basically one-handed, but it's easy to see that Oden is already the best big man in college basketball. Oden is still healing from a broken wrist injury he suffered this summer, but he has still looked great. Defensively he's already a nightmare for opponents, and once he gets the flexibility back in his right wrist he should be more effective on the offensive end of the floor.

His poor game against Florida probably says more about the excellent draft prospects of juniors Al Horford and Joakim Noah than it does about Oden.

Barring a torn ACL or some other serious injury, he'll go No. 1. The big question on everyone's mind right now is whether he'll actually declare this spring.

Ton of people in this draft, but i love durant

Even if we still had our pick, it wouldnt be high enough to get any of these guys...you dont do Curry (18.5 ppg 7.2 rbs, 23 years old) for Ty Thomas and the 20th pick rather than the 10th?

there are 7 guys in this draft that would go higher than last years number one.......

Sixers, Atlanta, Bobcats, Seattle, we could seriously end up with the 5th worst record nothing is set in stone so how are we picking 10th, maybe the nets finish with a worse record, but how are we picking 10th

Randy Foye is going to be a superstar, you need a superstar guard......and curry is a liability on defense.....I like him offensively but we are overatting him

maybe we should ask the teams that gambled their future and overpaid for a chronic underachiever who never showed any work ethic and desire how well that works out.

or does anyone do that except us?

boston, sixers, charlotte, atlanta, portland, seattle, N.O., grizzlies have worse records as of now, with Jersey, Miami, and Toronto within a couple games. So right now we are 9th worse, with three other teams right there. So i figure tenth isnt a stretch.

So you dont do Curry for Ty Thomas and the 20th pick rathe rthan the 10th?
