Enough of the bs talk about Larry brown and isiah and who supports either. Marbs is a player that can be easily replaced.

Dolan this and dolan that?

What matters is orange and blue!

Right now isiah is on my **** list because of frye. Some of you might think of me as an isiah supporter. I'm telling you right now frye is a puss and he needs to get out of dodge now. He makes me sick. Everytime he shoots, even after he hit that shot in Detroit. Trade this guy! Now!

What's up with Jared? Is Jared a love child of isiahs? Was there some Michael Jackson stuff going on when Jared was young?

Q is hurt. Ok. So do something about it!!! maurice Peterson?

Right now the knicks have a franchise center in curry. They have a rebounder in lee at the pf. Marbs is the point guard until he can be a salary relief pawn.

Ok now where do we go? Stop messing with my head isiah and do something.

The Ariza panic move should have taught all a lesson or two...I'll stan pat and play through the season...We have the talent but no heart to play through tough times...Frye needs to be bench until he earns his playing time again..Yeah he's playing soft right now, a power forward needs to rebound and play some tough D in this league...He has shown flashes that he can be a player, we are not that good to give up on players like Frye, Lee or Curry...Patients, and quick return of Q and re-evaluate...

I think the Knicks should make a serious play for Mo Peterson but again what the hell do we have to offer?

I agree with the other thread. Keep Curry and Lee, move the rest of the roster.

I say enough if the over paid vets. Lets just commit to palying time for our young guys regardless on wins and losses. No more Franbury. No James.

Curry
Lee
Frye
Balkman
Nate
Jcraw
Qrich
Jeffries
Collins

Are the only guys that should play at all baring injury/foul trouble
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I'm all for playing young guys but wtf? Frye is a punk ass. I want him traded. If you guys don't want to see him go fine. Still frye is not playing good basketball at all. He has bursts where he would drop 30 out of no where but even so the mofo has no other impact. Its like Allan Houston all over again but this is a power fwd.

Curry is not a finished product but has this mofo improved leaps and bounds or freakin what? Frye has NOT improved and I want this mofo gone before the rest of the league figures it out. Other that a jumpshot what does he bring?

I am stomping on the panic button, but I understand this thing can get fixed in house. Still isiah seems to be more inclined to tell parables like Jesus.

I wanna see the guys that are working hard play. Marbs is back. Craw is trying to be the man and he is to an extent. Lee is a knick and I really believe curry is trying hard to reach his potential.

I'm telling you guys this also if Q can't come back and stay for the rest of the season I'm gonna be mad as hell.

Frye is playing like a wuss but I'll reserve judgment... Maybe Isiah has him playing outside to spread the floor...He is probably our best outside shooter...But like you I'll like to see him bang more...2 pts 10 feet and in for a power forward is more important than the long distance one...Also he is a very good foul shooter makes more the reason I want him inside....His rebounding numbers is just awful, I just hope it's the floor spacing thing and not the way he wants to play this game...We will see when Q gets back on Friday...

Frye is out of position. He's also overmatched against smaller quicker players. When he's the center on the court he's OK. He mixes it up inside and does his fair share of pushing and shoving. Thats what? 5 minutes a night? Put him at PF and his name might as well be Channing Fryeskolov because he plays like a soft European player. He's afraid of any contact because he doesnt want to pick up stupid fouls and he too far from the basket to do anything besides launch jumpers.

I agree.. If we are commited to Eddy Curry than we should look to package Frye for the best SG/SF combo type out there. Gerald Wallace, Travis Outlaw and Josh Smith come to mind as options. JJ should be a bench player.

Trade Nate, Frye and Mardy for Josh Smith
Trade Frye for Travis Outlaw and Portlands #2
Trade Frye and Nate for Gerald Wallace

Or gauge the market for Curry. Now that his numbers are inflated beyond his impact maybe someone is dumb enough to give us a great package. Move Frye to center where he belongs and will play better.

Please don't make allan houston comparisons with frye that is just plain stupid, houston was one of the better sg in the league, sure he didn't do a whole lot else but he got you the bucket when you need it.....

that said channing is the biggest ***** i have scene in a long time, isiah really screwed up by not getting odom, boozer, or artest for him.....now he has limited value because he lets face it stinks and doesn't bring much to the table....Brain Cook can get you those numbers too if he is shooting 17 shots

Curry's a keeper... you don't find young players who can dominate the paint like him often... Frye is very expendable... jumpshooting bigs are alot easier to find... if u can get yourself a young, athletic shotblocker to play alongside Curry like a Josh Smith who can protect his weakside from penetrators, you're pretty much set... all you'd need then is a defensive perimeter G to play in the backcourt, but if Q comes back he could help fill that void.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

on one side of the ball... I cant wait to hang with you for the Nets outing (your coming right?). Watch Jason Collins, Mikki Moore and Josh Boone have career nights againts Eddy. He's that bad. Its amazing how bad Eddy is on defense when you watch him live.

keep an eye on eddy on defense. just sit there and watch him. you'll notice 95% of the time, he's just watching stuff happen. same applies to frye. when a guard drives down the lane, he's backing up instead of stepping up to contest.

you can see it on TV but watching it live is absolutely amazing. you can see an entire play developing and eddy is just watching it like a fan.

There's not a lot I say about LB that isn't a cynical or sarcastic barb toward Isiah, or the roster, but I say this in all sincerity. Frye would be much better under Brown. He WAS much better under Brown. He was simply utilized better under LB. Larry had him moving toward the basket while Isiah has him float.

It's almost as if both Isiah and Larry decided they needed to feature only one of Curry or Frye, at the expense of the other, but they each chose the other guy. Larry may have been wrong to chose Frye over Curry - or it might simply have been because last year Curry was in too terrible condition to be "the one."

OTOH, maybe Frye IS the better choice. I really can't say right now.

The point is, I wouldn't judge Frye off this year. This represents the worst we've seen of him. It might be that under Isiah, and next to Eddy, he'll never become what we want him to be. however, that's not to say that what we're seeing is all he's got.

Unfortunately, I think this is becoming a wasted year in his development. If Isiah can't do more with him he should move him out of compassion, if nothing else.

what i've said and what many others have said is that frye AND curry in the starting lineup just doesn't work. we need to pick one and trade the other b/c moving one to the bench would be a waste.

i think frye defensively AT CENTER, is better than eddy.
i think frye is more versatile offensively than eddy.
but eddy is more dominant 5 feet and in from the basket.

so who do you pick? i would pick frye to stay and move him to center.

but i also didn't give frye $60 mil while giving up 2 #1's and 2 #2's.
