Blame the GM that pulled the trigger if you don't like the deal.

I did at the time and I still do. but there's no denying the LB was a big detractor of the Ariza and probably pushed to include him in the trade.

Seriously Isles I know we have our back and forth but You really can't tell me LB wasn't behind the deal to get the delusional kid out of town...Dolan said LB begged him for that deal...If you coach that you owe 50 mil to said he needs this to get him over the top how on earth are you blaming Isiah for this...How???

If you are going to try and tell me that on Feb 22 when the Knicks were 15-38 and Dolan was already down on Larry Brown that he was going to let him make a trade then you've got to be kidding me.

Every move goes through the GM and Dolan has an affinity for Isiah Thomas, if Isiah didn't want Francis then he wouldn't have OK'ed the deal.

I don't see any logic in why thomas was bringing in Francis other than LB wanting him in efforts to maybe replace marbury. When you have a 50 mil coach, what he says kind of carries some weight, especially if your in the we're trying to make it work with Larry mode.

Still, we all knew Ariza was going to be good. But it doesnt bother me too much because I think him and Balkman have similar games. All Balkman has to do over the summer is develop a mid range jumpshot and that will be enough for me to classify him better than ariza. He hustles, plays D, gets rebounds, and he can dribble with his head up.

Notice Dolan and Isiah only accused Larry of attempting to talk trades with other GM's. They never accused Larry of actually MAKING trades with other GM's. You know why? Because they know he never did. That includes the Francis trade.

So your point is what...Dolan is making it up???

Who is the GM? Isiah

Who is the ONLY person that can actually make trades? Isiah

Anyone can suggest a trade. Dolan approves trades. But only Isiah decides who stays and who goes.

Very simple concept, you'd think people would be able to grasp it.

LB is laughing all the way to the bank. He is probably on some island now with his third wife who is half his age and his 5 year old kid when he is close to 65. What a loser.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I fail to see why having a five year old makes him a winner.

I guess you've never heard of something called "Public Relations"

I'll help you out.

You are so wrong on this one....Obviously Isiah didn't want the trade if Dolan had to be begged for the deal to go through...If Isiah wanted the trade he would have asked Dolan himself...The fact that Larry had to beg meant that the GM wasn't going along with the trade...I know you hate Isiah bro, but come on....

But I bet you would switch places with him in a NY minute! I know I would.
