really? why do you say that? anyway the front page of espn says, "sending Andre Miller, Joe Smith and two first-round picks to Philadelphia, ESPN.com has learned."

Not a bad deal for Philly. Should help both teams.

The Nuggets just became a serious force (once Carmelo is back).
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The nuggets now have the league's top two scorers on the team. Explain to me how that's going to work out.

dre miller gives them a true pg with 3 years left at reasonable $$$'s, an expiring in joe smith, and 2 more #1's giving them 3 #1's in the deepest draft in a while.

If the rumors about the Clippers package then I'm really not sure why the Sixers would take this deal, the 2 picks they are getting from the Nuggets are not that good(the Nuggets own and the Magic pick) I guess the deal creates alot of cap-room for the Sixers though.

That's good for us. We won't be seeing him this season.

Andre Miller's playmaking should help Philly a great deal, I think.

Yep, funny part is, look at this deal, Philly only needed two picks because they couldn't get an expiring out of anyone.

We probably could've given them Jalen Rose and a pick (or maybe Nate) and gotten AI. Not saying I would want Francis, Marbury and AI on the same team, but just sayin'.

Also, I bet TMS doesn't like the trade for Philly. He seems to hold Iverson a bit higher than most.

They're combining for almost 62 ppg this season. I bet they only combine for about 50 ppg in Denver, because there just won't be enough to go around.

I guess the Melo suspension made this an easier decision for the Nuggets.

I think it's a good deal for both clubs.

The Nuggets get a top 5 player still at his peak.

The Sixers get a good player in Miller, an expiring contract and 2 picks to go with what could very well be their own top 5 pick.

Draft picks and cap space to help them rebuild. I bet they win a playoff series before the Knicks do.

AI, not enbough balls? That's nuts. I wouldn't say this automatically gives the Nuggets the advantage though. How are Melo and Iverson going to co exist? Both of them take 5 million shots combined. Plus, Dre was a great PG for them. I think what Denver needed the most was some low post scoring.

I don't know how much better Philly becomes though. Lets see how they draft.

Yes and no about the cap room. Not until Webber is moved does that team have true cap flexibility. If you subtract A.I.'s salary for next yr the Sixers are roughly at $55mil instead of $74mil but they take back Miller's contract which will be $9mil next yr, taking their cap up to $64mil. Add the draft picks and possibly any signings barring no more trades they'll still be kissing Luxury Tax in the bunghole.
