If Isiah learned somthing from Larry is to get the roster whitteled down to a smaller rotation.

Lee is a monster, and we go with 3 guards.

Curry/Jerome 5min a game
Frye/Lee/jeff
Jeff/Q
Marbury/Q/
Craw/Fran

Thats it. Mardy, Balkman and Nate pine.

I also think we have to think long and hard on Nates "special" personality.

Just how annoying is he to his team? If they can't take him serious, can the respect him. Better yet, can they trust him"?

While is is full of special ability, is he a nut job that despite that talent not really be NBA caliber?

I would try to include Cato cause he gave us something we don't have, an active shot blocker. Also Balkman is so active I would have to include him too in any rotation. I wouldn't mind sending Craw to the bench and starting Q at the 2.

This 8-9 man rotation worked really well tonight but what happens when Nate, Francis, Jeffries come back? Who gets shown the bench?

No Balkman in this rotation? Also, Isiah only had 9 players in his rotation in Indiana.

The team we had out there worked pretty good, so just bench all those guys when they come back.

What about Mardy "the hitman" Collins? He's got a pretty well established role now.

you guys are so funny, first it's use the zone and that blows up in our faces, now it's go 8 man rotation.

Can we have atleast a half season before we proclaim we know better than the coach?

good post, only Lee needs to start. and I think Balkman needs to play 10-15 minutes right now, if not more.

I think we are all missing one skill - HEART
Todays win was possible because the players (ALL 8 PLAYERS!!!) was playing with the heart.
Including Craf and Curry despite both having a bad game.
We should start playing players who deserve to play by bringing effort, intensity, defence, and never give up on the play.
The numbers and skills on paper or prise tags are irrelevant. I think this team proved it already multiple times. Enough is enough.
We are so down that it is time to forget about millions payed and draft numbers.

i think the 9,999 guard rotation is part of the reason marbury couldn't get going or any of the guards for that matter jamal, francis & nate. so keep nate & francis away and we have a chance

I don't like the zone. Its effective, but I think it makes players passive. Some Knicks are passive enough as it is. Pick 8 or 9 guys...ones that play with energy, that play defense and play smart team ball. GO with them.

Right now my list would be:
Lee
Frye
Balkman
Q
Cato
Rose
Steph (barely)
JJ2

Find some others that fit.

I say use the guys who were in the game tonight. They were smart enough to avoid getting suspended, and they played a good game tonight.
