"there's no question in my mind that it was premeditated. that it was directed by isiah. i think his actions after the game was despicable and i just...he made a bad situation worse. i'll swear on my children's life that i never thought about running up the score. my team has had trouble holding leads at the end of games. i didn't want the score to get under 10 points because i think if it would've gotten under 10 points it would've had a negative feeling because of the way we blow leads. and i think...i think he's a jackass."

Look at Denvers last 5-6 games. Have not been all too pretty.

Road record sucks also.

HIs team is up 17 and your sending out your starters. Not all that bad if you think about it.

I agree with Karl about him being a jackass... not because IT ordered a hard foul or anything. I'm pissed that he warned Melo and talked to Melo afterwards. Stick by your own damn team.

That particular Temple roughhouse tactic was sanctioned by Owls coach John Chaney, whose unreasonable approach drags us into the kitchens of the two coaches involved in our latest NBA donnybrook.

True bad teams need more concentration, but telling us (the fans, media, all audience) that you were scared that leaving the building with say a 10 pt win would hurt there pride is an insult on everyones intelligence. With under 2:00 left there is no way there were going to blow a 20 point lead. No Way. It happens all the time, you blow a team out, then put the reserves in, the points scored are all garbage points. That should not damage your teams confidence. For him to swear on his children that this was the case, tells me that he is the jackass. He should show some class, take his players out instead of trying to stick it to us. If he did this to any other team, they would have the same response. Its clear he doesnt like IT calling him a jackass to the press, I dont think IT has ever called him or any other coach names. Again the real jackass is you, George Karl. You left your players in to prove some crappy point and it backfired royally in your face. You lose your top 2 scorers, cost them millions of money and cost the Nuggets .5 mil because you want to hold a grudge. We can place blame many different places, but if they were not in the game late, this would not have happened. If the brawl did not happen and Melo somehow had a season ending injury, everyone would be crucifying Karl for leaving him in a meaningless garbarge time. But since he is going up against IT, all the rules have changed. The Nuggets organization should have a sitdown with Karl, they should hold him accountable for making such a bonehead move.

And that code applies to the last 2-3 minutes of the game. Karl was actually right. He's the road team and his team has blown leads.

Look at the Knicks Grizz opening night... maybe the Knicks were just following the code and not coughing up a big lead right?

To run up the score you'd have to actually keep shooting. Please explain the Nuggets milking the shotclock in the 2 possessions leading up to the fight. They waited until the shotclock was under 5 seconds before looking to shoot.

This is a pretty pathetic apology for Karl leaving his starters in. Wonder if you would accept a similar rationale from Isiah, had he given it in the opposite position. Isiah was wrong and so was Karl. Neither gets a pass.

Thank you. Some of y'all are straight unbelievable when it comes to finding ways to only fault Isiah for anything wrong. If Isiah said he was worried about the psyche of his players if they lost a 10 point lead the anti-Isiah-obsessed possee would be going nuts on him.

So what would you say if Isiah used the same argument Karl did for keeping his players in if the roles were reversed? You, honestly, would be ok with him being worried about his players psyche from blowing a lead?
