you could argue that it is a low point, the team is so bad right now, blown out but 20. I dont know of any other low points in any other fights. The miami fight was a rivalary, the suns fight, well the knicks back then were just rough as hell.

It's close.

When Bernard King got hurt things were bleak, but they got Ewing in the draft.

Naw, the worst was the time somebody got gang-raped on the court. But we don't talk about that incident.

Basketball wise, that 40-something loss against Charlotte (I think)ranks up there.

Brawl-wise. this may be it
the others were in the playoffs in reasl rivalries, this was just a sucker team trying to make something out of a terrible game and a terrible season.

Im hating this sorry team...

So you've established the franchise low has likely occurred in at least one, and probably spanning two, of Isiah's three years.

And that ignores the Don Chaney and Lenny Wilkens travesties.

this is a joke. this last year has been the worst Knicks period in a looooooooooong time. this is probably the lowest of the low right now. Isiah should not make it past his three year anniversary.

Why single out tonight? The team sucked last year worse than this year. And they had a Hall of Fame coach who couldn't get his players to play well together.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

Because the players were fighting on the court instead of playing ball?

this is just a crowning embarassment. heck, three years ago when Layden was here, Frank Williams led a comeback win over a better Denver team. a week later Isiah was in charge. how's that for "evident progress"?

Take your pick...there are so many...John Starks game 7, Maimi/Heat brawl, those hurt because there was hope, Camby for Broke-knee, Wilkens travesty, LB saga, Bernard King, Ewing's wrist, Knicks fight-night at the garden '06!

If we systematically take out every star player, we'll be better contextually. Now that's evident progress.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

We had respectable people associated with Knicks before Isiah/Marbs era.
The team was not playing well and wasn’t exiting but it was nice group of professionals.
So... What we see now?
And this brawl is also LB fault? Give me a break...
This place is sick and everybody know what is the name of the sickness

smart fans will tell you this is the lowest point b/c we have no cap space or 07 draft pick.

even after king went down we had cap managability and our own draft picks...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

haha on the name.

some of those you mention might have been low-point nights, or devestating losses, but I don't think this organization has ever appeared to be so out of control for such an extended period of time.

Some smarter than me say we were pretty poorly managed by Scotty Sterling. But even then I don't think we were as lowly regarded around the league. At least we had Ewing.

Breen is bashing the Knicks on ESPN, no surprise. But Walt is bashing them on the radio. That should tell you everything you need to know. If Walt is embarassed, it's really bad.

You know it's bad when even Clyde is busting on you.
