For Gasol I would give up the following package

David Lee Channing Frye Steve Francis Mardy Collins Chicago Pick
for Gasol and Mike Miller

That would put us at

C-Curry
F Gasol

we were taken out of all these type of sweepstakes when we dumped jalen and mo.

#1 frontrunners for his service is probably chicago. they can offer an expiring + 2-3 young players and/or picks.

if i'm chicago, i put an offer in to minnesota after iverson is traded elsewhere. if they say no for KG, then send an offer to memphis.

I admit, I thought dumping Jalen and Mo was not a good move. You never take ALL of your cards off the table. If it had meant getting a Gasol for them? I'd do it in a heartbeat.

I just saw that myself Briggs. I'd go all out to get Gasol here and play next to Eddy; that is a VERY formidable front-line.

I'd go all out for Gasol too, although I'm wondering why he'd be on the block unless Memphis is worried about his ankle.

Would you go all out to get Jermaine O'Neal or Elton Brand? (Just wondering). Would you give up the same package for these two that Briggs proposed above for Gasol?

i guess that squashes any hopes he'd want to come to the Knicks anytime soon.

Memphis is being sold- new investors are not cash rich like others- in fact, its dubious as to whether they have enough money.

Gasol wants to play for a championship contender? That leaves us out of the equation.

memphis would be wise to tank.

dump gasol for some young players. tank the season and end up with oden, durant, noah, etc.

and have a SLEW of young players in a matter of 2 drafts.

LOL! Is called Tirachinas which means slingshot.
For me it will be a dream come true to have Gasol playing for the Knicks, but... I'm not sure Eddy and he can co-exist...

I wouldn't break the bank for Gasol, especially given that we already have an emerging offensive force on the blocks.

Food for thought: last year, Curry and Frye both had better rebound rates than Gasol has had at any point in his career.
