The first EVER Cut and pasted BOOTLEGGED Thread Starter

(with a sincere apology to connectivity999 in an alternate Knicks Universe)

The knicks can have a good holiday with job security...I know some of y'all was hoping Isiah got fired at the end of the season ...counting his wins vs last year and all...But it aint going to happen so step back.

And stop hating on our guys...we need positivity from the fans...we have a good team as compared to the rest of the Atlantic and we are not out of the playoff race...

Q Rich is in spendid condition and playing like the vet we traded for..I know the Hawks were weak but thats the NBA...The knicks dont get a pass cuz Jared was out all season...or cuz Frye went down...

Injuries are a part of the game..thats why the knicks went young. All those old veteran knicks are gone bye bye to the injury heap....I remember when guys like Jalen and Webber where young...that time has past...So Patrick is acent history...look at his hairstyle in thos old pics...a flat top fade?

its been years...lets say good bye to Oakley comparisons and Patrick Ewing worship...they didnt get it done.

let build around our youth. lets get this Garden rockin again!

Or do you want to start over?

I want to start over. Starting with a new team president, a new GM and a new coach.

We have a very good frontcourt foundation [as long as curry's health is cool], but there is going to come a time for a need to *rebuild* the backcourt. That's a huge process. But let's let some games go through. We were just down 30 points to the Celtics at home 20 minutes ago--I think it's reasonable to have serious trepidation with anything concerning the Knicks UNTIL they can TRULY prove otherwise.

I agree. The frontcourt has great potential. With a couple more pieces that compliment Curry we can be done with the frontcourt. The backcourt does need an overhaul. It is missing some key ingredients.

Key ingredients like ... players who can play?

You mean like for example, Jarrett Jack or Marcus Williams and Brandon Roy?

man, with the current team, if marbury and francis morphed into marcus williams, we'd really have a young exciting core with an excellent future...keeping balkman ofcourse.

If you had a young PG that can grow with Curry you are now talking about building a contender. When will this become priority? If we are excited about Curry's youth and growth, it's time to start finding a partner to grow with him(not a sexual partner)

crawford is that partner and has always been. QRich is also another Curry fan.

Marbury is here to stay until 2009, but he's not a curry partner.

All of curry's partners are around his age or younger.

could be that the player is already here. Collins. We all know he can't shoot, so he sits and shoots at practice and gets guidance from Isiah about being a PG. He gets guidance from Franbury about what NOT to do as a PG by watching them play. I am OK with that.

I think it's time Isiah GM started getting some credit around here for making some bold moves...Not all the moves he made has been great but the Knicks needed to gamble and that he did...The Knicks needed a complete roster overhaul when Isiah was hired...I have to say I'm currently impressed with the stockpile of talent the Knicks currently have...The Knicks may be the deepest team in the NBA...It took three years and now it's time to play basketball...This roster is far from being done but the infusion of youth has been brilliant...The trades that brought Q and Nate was stellar...Getting DLee here was a sweet deal...That Curry trade was a huge game but could now have turned into a fleece by Isiah if we make the playoffs....

Like I said, Some bold moves needed to be made and he get the job done...At least now we look like we have a foundation to build with...It would be criminal not to extend isiah's contract to see if he could now build us a Championship team...

Notice, the wild trades has stopped and now the tweaking should begin...GO ZEKE!!!!!!

Mr Earl I love that you actually root for our team to do well. You are a good fan. :)
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

mardy collins is that true pg for sure. He's defensive minded, came from a good program and is a pass first point guard.

No more trades, there should be a lineup checker for deciding the best lineup with what we have projected 3 years down the road.
