Russo just brought up the very point that I've been trying to make here the last few days.

Can Isiah's job be saved by Curry's numbers regardless of their won-loss record?

I think it's a joke that it's even possible.

its a good point and i think that is Isiah's strategy. Whatever tho, if after this whole mess is finished and Isiah is out of here.. If Curry has some confidence and is an established all-star at least we have that

It should be a factor - but not automatic. This was one of Isaiah's biggest moves and if it turns out to be a plus, it should be considered. What also needs to be considered is how the other young players develop. What David Lee has done has to be a big plus for Isaiah. The trade for Q and Nate is a plus. Frye on the other hand isn't looking as good as he was this time last season.

It is a red herring. Isiah wants wins. did you see how down he was last night? He didnt care that Curry scored 30-12. He was broken that we lost.
Isiah needs us to be a playoff contender or he is gone. Its that simple
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Isiah is shooting about .500 as a GM in my oppinion.... but its like free throws.......you need to shoot in the 80s if you want to win

If you are going to Mike and the Mad Dog for your basketball news you are lost....You know more about basketball than Mike and the Mad dog....They don't watch the game and they readily admit it...

Isiah hasn't really made that much progress with this team.....

Lee needed minutes, Qs touch and head is back on, and Curry is getting more looks, and has shown good improvement for 10 games, other than that he has been terrible for the most part

Our guards look terrible, we have the worst home record in the league, and Isiah should be down after losing to the Celtics for the second time at home, a team that isn't going to make the playoffs

Dolan's gonna be on at 5:05 today. I find that timing curious.

How come? My guess is that they wanted Dolan to be on at 5 for the ride home from work.

I have no idea why he's gonna be on. Maybe he has something to announce.

OMG Mike and the Mad dog are idiots. They are yelling that white people in America are not interested in the NBA. Thats so stupid. These guys are a joke. I guess there are no white people filling arenas all around the country or buying the NBA ticket

I'm not sure if those comments are considered racist. Stupid and stereotypical yes.

I think they are just referring to people being tired of the NBA, obviously the vast majority of people are white that go to games, but they are getting turned off by the image of the league and in some cases are turned away......

which is clearly why stern started that racist dress code so teams look slightly more professional

This is easy to solve.
We need more international games.
Something like UEFA cups in Socker to bring best Euro teams and NBA teams together.
And more scouting from all over the world. This is already under way.

The NBA problem is not black/white is more show/sport.
People are tired from soup operas, gang connections, and other crap.
The players became some kind of f...ing celebs and their success is coming not from how they play but from how much money they do with endorsments, how many scandals they are involved, who are theif fiance, etc.

the one thing we can take away from this interview is that isiah probably won't get fired this year and dolan sounds like he really likes isiah. that and he hates larry brown.

btw, concerning steve francis - dolan said the both the GM AND THE COACH must approve the deal for it to happen which is a lie b/c lenny didn't want to trade doleac and kvh but isiah did anyway.

Not to mention that Isiah and Dolan are on record saying that the only reason they traded for Francis is because Larry begged them.

what do you say we put to bed the delusion that this team was going anywhere with kvh and doleac. that short-lived "chemistry" thing wssn't going anwyhere anyway.
