If we were to trade Frye (I'm not saying we should) what position would we trade for?

What is our biggest need. I really think our biggest weakness is perimeter defenders. I think we need a lock down defender at guard. Thats what I would look for. What would you look for in a trade if we had to give up Frye?
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

I'd want a young two way player. It could be a forward/center to replace Frye and back up Curry and Lee. It could be a big shooting guard that could defend the position and help with scoring as well. But right now, what we need are good all-around players. This team has too players who can score or play d, but not both.

yes we need more 2 way players. I just really would like 1 single guard that could defend their position. We have gotten killed all year from outside

trade him for a young future floor general PG who can play D. that is, if we trade him. i'd move him if the right such player were available.

may get slammed, like charlie V for tj ford, but it's what we need

Etans averaging almost 2 bpg in only 21 minutes... if you want a physical defender/shotblocker w/toughness, he fits the bill... & Isiah could make very good use out of that additional 1st rounder i'm sure (if he's still around that is)

Give me a guard that can keep someone in front of them. A character and professional and hopefully they throw in a body that can bang on the inside

trade him for a real pg. Ridnour, Duhon, and possibly even Barbosa come to mind.

HEll no!!! What are you guys smoking in here???? Duhon, LUke Ridnour, Etan Thomas, a shot blocker??? NUck FO!!!!! I'd only trade for a combination of a 5-10 pick in this years draft, a role playing Rebounding Forward/Center and to move Francis or Marbury. I need atleast two of these things. If not I'll take a Frye putting up 15 and 6 of the bench and who ever we pick up in this years draft at the four.

Lee/Al Hatford
JJ2/Balkman
Q/Nate
Crawford/Collins

i don't know, smith maybe a little nuts but i would do a frye for smith deal straight up, smith does nearly everything better than frye, but then we have smith, balkman and jefferies who i think is already redundant

not sure why you're getting so excited when the proposal you just made is pretty much in line with what i proposed earlier

Etan Thomas is a role playing Rebounding Forward/Center... the protected pick from WAS is less than that #5-#10 pick you're asking for, but be realistic, there isn't a team in the NBA that will give you a top 10 pick for Frye right now... he's been too injury prone & several of his weaknesses have been exposed this season... if you could get Etan & a protected pick that's a pretty fair trade off in my view.

NOt trading Frye for less then that. HIs up side is wayyyyy better then Etan thomas and the wizards 19th pick. That's crazy. And I don't mind trading Frye because I've said all the back at the start of the season, but I'm trading away a young player as good as frye for nothing but what he is worth. Your veiw is wayyyy too low.

being realistic here... you're not going to get much more for Frye imo... not unless he comes back & starts to play the way he was playing early in the season last year.

What we really need is a true pg that can run the offense(decision maker/floor general)

We also need a rugged 6'10 bruising power forward that can dee up @ all times and have Curry's back.

those are pretty much the 2 most critical area..

Buy low, sell high. The only players you should be considering trading now are Lee, Eddy, and Q.
