everytime they talk playoffs they go on a losing streak; and the only reason why they lost these last two is cuz of spree.

I think Knicks will be blown out by Houston.

I think they will beat Dallas and San Antonio.

"I think they will beat Dallas and San Antonio."-Why do you think that? Dallas has a ton of scorers and as Mike James of the Heat blatantly showed yesterday, the Knicks can't guard quick points becuase Eisley and Ward are so slow. Nash is just as fast. The Knicks have nobody at all to defend either Nowitkzi or Duncan, but, even though I sound like the Knick anti-christ, a losing streak would be great, I really think this is the 1 year to be bad, with LeBron, Milicic, and Carmelo all probably coming out, and guys like Okafor, Bosh, and the Greek PF all being between 4 and 8, this is the one time to have a high draft pick, so I say keep the losses coming.

I am not too worried about Yao Ming. I am more worried about Steve Francis. If some scrub like Mike James can beat us, imagine what Francis is going to do? He's going to murder Howard Eisley and Charlie Ward. The Rockets are a great team with good shooters. If Francis continues to get into the paint - setting up teammates for the open jumper, forget it! Ming is going to get his usual 12 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks but I don't think he's going to kill us. Kurt Thomas is an experienced defender and one of the most physical Centers in the league. However, he's got to stay out of foul trouble! Imagine poor Clarence Weatherspoon or Othella Harrington trying to guard Ming! Yikes!

ugh. This is gonna get ugly.

It will be interesting to see how this teams handles this tough schedule though. I can kinda understand why anyone would think we will upset dallas the knicks do have a way of surprising and beating thems they are suppossed to lose to, but no way were beating Dallas or the Spurs this times. I'll be surprised if they pull that off.

As far as the losing with a purpose thing. That's a hard one for me. It's still hard for me to cheer against my team I'm just not used to doing that I guess. My head says LOSE, but my heart says WIN. I guess all I want my team to do is to try their best.

I truely think Francis is gonna torch us for 45+ points. Yao should score tha much on Thomas but I believe Eddie Griffin and Francis will have a field day. I say we lose by 25 points.

I dont get it...you guys seem to be underestimating Ming. His OVERALL averages are 12pt 8 grabs etc but look at what he has done in december. 20pts 10 boards - actually I think thats an understatement but its around what he has been doing. There is a reason he is close to beating out Shaq for the starting Western All Star Center position. He is going to light up Thomas and even if he doesnt get his December average against him (which I am sure he will) Yao alone is enough to open up the scoring lane for Francis. The Knicks are going to get a good old fashioned Texas ass whooping from their three teams.

Ming is quite nice. He isnt a power player yet. But he putting up great numbers while playing soft. I think hes gonna be MVP within 2 years.

I agree with you on that he will be a MVP in the NBA one day. He is highly skilled player at 7'5''. His progress in such a short period of time is what gets me the most. When you watch him play its like watching a great player play you keep you eyes on him no mattet where he is on the court. Lets hope the Knicks could get lucky in this draft and get their man.

Can't get much worse than this year IMO. Next year, with hopefully a healthy McDyess and a nice lottery pick we should make some noise in the Playoffs.
