He might be fine but the Knicks won't be. There is absolutely ZERO reason to be taking him out of the starting lineup.

Most of the time, players have no right to question a coach or be "miffed" about a decision.. you do your job and shut up. But this is an exception.. David Lee has every right to be upset, this decision by Isiah is not only assinine but its down right insulting to all of us as Knicks fans, David, His family, and the entire Knicks organization past present and future.

Not that serious. He's great with the second lineup, the energy he brings is tremendous. Much as I love the kid, this isn't an all star player being send back to the bench. It's a second year player working to establish himself.

It wouldn't be fair to Frye to take away his starting job that quickly either.

Curry is an allstar center when paired with DLee as the starter.

Why phuch with that. Let Jeffries come off the bench and see how it goes.

Lee needs to keep his mouth shut otherwise the "Dolan Propoganda stormtroopers" might drag him away.

Jared Jeffries and Channing Frye are coming back from bad injuries they need to come off the bench for limited minutes for a good month or two. Remember Antonio McDyess anyone?

Frye and Jared aren't gonna play unless they're fully healthy. I don't see any problem with them starting. It's a coach's decision to spread his talent so that he has the flow he wants and the proper distribution of talent. He NEEDS Lee's energy off the bench and so he's gonna use him how he sees fit. I wouldn't expect Lee to feel great about being sent to the bench, no player with any pride would. Still Isiah is running the team and he's the one that has to decide how best to use his assets. IF Frye stinks he'll see his minutes cut and may eventually end up coming off the bench anyway.

I think isiah is looking at his big man rotations like this. Frye and Curry start, then Frye comes out 1st and Lee comes in for him. After a short rest, Frye comes back in for Curry etc.

Or you could just leave lee out there and bring balkman in for him and do the same with curry and frye, you need a solid energy guy next to frye and curry at all times....

He might be a better player than Lee but Frye really sucked early on. He had a couple of good games and went back to being bad before getting injured. It looks like he isn't all there yet. Sophomore slump? Here is the thing; Curry is kicking ass with Lee next to him. He is playing the best ball he has played as a Knick. Wouldn't playing next to Frye mess up his rhythm? I mean, the only positive we have is the development of Curry. Lets see Frye for 10 games and then put him back in the starting 5.

Tell me one thing that Frye does better than Lee besides shooting? He does nothing better and just because he was drafted in the lottery and Lee wasn't does not make him a better player than Lee. Frye needs the ball to be effective on the court and Lee doesn't. Lee scores nearly as many points all the while not needing the ball in his hands to do so and rebounds much more then Frye does or ever will.

You have an infatuation with draft # because I know for a fact if Lee was the lotto pick you'd be saying the same exact thing about him that youre saying about Frye

And let's not start with Frye's defense or lack of it...

If Isiah does go through with this I want him fired immediately! Actually he will problably be gone before either Jeffries or Frye return anyway

Guess we'll be seeing how much of Curry's hot streak was actually Curry.
I wanted to see Frye come off the bench, build up some confidence and get going against second stringers, THEN maybe you can insert him back in, but not before it's earned!
