I'm with Nalod. I'm guessing we will hire another hall of famer to bring back the optimism and the crowds. Then fire him when he's not able to lead this mishmash bunch to a title. Then probably try to avoid paying him.

Bippity - why not a fans petition to convince Bill Bradley and Spike Lee to buy the franchise from under the grasp of the Dolan evil empire?

I didn't eat lunch today, so I guess I'll start the hunger strike. Acutally there are donuts on the desk behind me. I'll start the hunger strike after a donut.

um...iraq is a bigger mess.

whoever comes in here is going to get lauded as a genius cause all he'll have to do is buyout Marbury and Francis and find one decent point guard and a backup shotblocking center. and he can probably even trade Frye to get one or both.

Zeke is screwed because he has to go down with Marbury and Francis. This team is not too hard to fix, there are plenty of pieces who are 26 or younger:

Qrich
Curry
Dlee
Jefferies
get a PG and that's a good starting lineup with a nice bench of

Crawford, Nate, Balkman, Frye

Arkrud-no offense at all so don't take it that way, but how does this thread not gat ANY complaints about it when the Isiah-George Bush Comparison thread got so many-and the latter didn't even mention Iraq?

You don't and you can't fire I.Thomas.

The only thing worse than the salary cap is the 4 coaches the Knicks have had in the past 4 years. The Knicks need stability...the core players are already in place and their adjusting and buying into Thomas system. It will be a huge mistake to get rid of him now or during the off season.

I didn't see this one joe but shame on you and gunsnewing for trying to suggest there is some kind of bias. Even if there is a bias of some sort, more traffic on your thread generally means a good thing. If someone responds on your thread, it means you have more credibility than those that dont get any replies.

I am surprised, especially with your replies to me guns. Since you have known me so long, I would expect to hear something more meaningful than the "UK Po-Po see Briggs name" crap. Seriously, Briggs is not a problem on this forum. Its you and joec32033 that have no no direction and choose to spread hate. How is that for a reply?

Did somebody say Iraq?

Mr. Bush himself seems uncertain how to handle his always-uncomfortable relationship with his father’s friend (Baker). It was Mr. Baker who in 2000 ran the strategy for winning the Florida recount, but he has also made little secret in private that he regards the administration as a bunch of diplomatic go-cart racers, more interested in speed than strategy and prone to ruinous crashes.

Now THAT is a great line.

where is Condolezza Rice when you REALLY need her?

For that matter, where is Henry Bibby?
