DLEE + ECURRY = GOOD

Curry needs the ball, David does not. Frye also needs the ball imo. So bring him off the bench but play him big minutes.

Curry and Lee together is our best option, its clear as my ass after dipping it in a snowbank.

Will Isiah see this?

Thank GOD he FINALLY played him 38 minutes last night.. I think Lee should get 35-40 min a game no questions asked. He just plain produces. Can you recall a single game EVER where Lee has gotten minutes and had a bad game?

I'm a big frye fan but I would hate to go back to the 25 foot jumper instead of pounding the ball inside
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

'Spits up breakfast'

Anyway, I still go back and forth on this. One thing I love about Lee is that he is the perfect bail-out player. What I mean is, he follows the pg to the hole on penetration, opening up lanes for passes. Whenever Francis or Marbs over penetrate or get caught in the air, Lee's awareness to cut to the basket helps bail-out the guards and get us easy baskets. Frye drifts on the perimeter a little too much for me. If Frye can be taught to crash the lane like Lee, it would definitely help.

I also like Frye in with Curry, especially when the mid-range J is working. Line him and Q up on the same side and it'll be impossible to double Curry. Frye also gives us a deceant but not great shotblocker. I was initially against strating Lee because he was playing so well off the bench, but he has convinced me that his game can translate while being a starter.

I wouldn't mind seeing Frye off the bench with Crawford and Balkman.

i'd almost think frye might prefer to play off the bench, he and crawford basically the whole offensive show, less pressure more fun.

we'll see.

It's really a moot point about Lee, when Jeffries gets back and gets in shape he will start ahead of Lee and Frye. Lee and Frye are better suited for the 2nd unit. I don't think Lee can handle huge minutes on an every night basis anyway.

Jeffries will start at sf not pf. He isnt a pf.
Curry
Lee
Jeffries
Qrich
Marbury or Francis
Will be the starters. Isiah has already told reporters this

I agree plus its much easier going against teams second units. Look at the difference in Balkman when he started or came in early vs later against teams backups

Seriously i dont understand this statement. What on earth has he done to make you think he coulent handle huge minutes? Every single time Lee has gotten big minutes he has played like a freekin allstar.. whats the problem????

I think the Knicks should trade Lee or Frye this year. Lee trade value is at a high and Frye still has teams that want him. You have to get a defensive minded guard, or a point guard that is the main weakness on this team. People beat us on the dribble all night. I wouldnt have a problem if Steph was averaging 20 points and 8 assists but he isnt.

If I were into name-calling, a post like this might lead me to call you an idiot. Good thing I'm not.

Let it be known: I believe in the Knicks this year-- deep into the playoffs, I swear to you my brothers...

Since Lee moved in to the starting lineup

Curry - 7 consecutive 20 pt games.
Lee - 8 double doubles (only 4 last season).

Starting together the last 5 games...

Curry - 25 ppg, 9 rpg, 0.8 apg (career highs if that continues as a season trend)
Lee - 12 ppg, 8 rpg, 1.2 bpg

All I am saying this team need balance and if you could trade Lee or Frye to get rid of a contract then it helps your team. You need a guard on this team in the worst way that can guard people.
