Do you really think he can keep this up? Or is this just a fluke?

As much as we get on Isiah it looks he is bringing the best out in Curry.

I think he can keep the offense up as long as he's fed the ball. I also think he'll keep up the sh!t defense, but thats just me.

6 straight 20 plus with all these new moves doesnt seem like a fluke. All bigs will throw in some clunkers occasionally but the Curry in the last week is showing confidence we have never seen before ever. Also our guards are finally recognicing the foce he is. Now often I see francis or Jcraw just lob it towards the rim if they get in trouble. 8 times out of 10 Curry bails them out when they do it. The guards are really improving their post passing. Thats keeping Curry in rythem. I think this is a turning point. He is like 23-7 over the last 7 games.

I'm a Curry fan so I love what I'm seeing. The raptors board was going nuts in the 4th. He could not be contained.
But if you hated Curry before odds are you will hate him even if he puts up 40-15
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

alright, everybody just on Curry's nuts when he's playing well. Isiah has a thing with the bigs. It wasnt a question whether Curry was going to have a break through year/tenure with Zeke as coach. Mark Aguire...is teaching him how to score effectively. Offense was never a question with Curry. He HAS to improve defensively. He is not a factor on the defensive end - period. I would rather a a big that played D, rebounded & blocked some shots. Curry is just strictly offense.
I think he should lose some weight.... maybe he will play a little better. I hate to see bigs laying up the ball. Dunk it! Show some power, Eddie.
Stevie franchise is gaining confidence with more playing time. Now if only that confidence can spread to the rest of the team.

His offense looks better. His rebounding, shot-blocking, and shot-contesting are about as good as a good 2 guard or average SF sadly.

Rebounding is a lot better too. problem is neither he, lee or Frye play any defense. Frye gets the occasional weakside block but thats it. Jeffries and Balkman might be our best bet guarding opposing bigs. Balkman did a good job on Bosh. Lee was burned all night

For me, Curry gets all year long to show me what he can do. We have seen the worst from him last year and now I want to see what he can do.

Curry has shown me that he can get his own when he touches the ball a lot and the guards look for him, but now I want to see him help the team win some games. Don't have to be a lot of games, but a tough defensive rebound that leads to a Knicks basket that leads to a win would be nice.

yup, I know those 2 exact possessions. Curry was in position to snatch both of them easily if he boxes out.

Aslong as curr stays active on D like hes been doing, things will get better. He is Showing more on the help and going after shots alot more. He'll also get that .5-1.5 Rebounds per game he needs to have an top 5 Ceneter rebounding average. Things are looking good.......... dare I say if he keeps this up the knicks will have their first all-star in a while.(Forget who was the last)

I thought he had one of the weakest 12 rebound games that I've ever seen and we discussed this at the game. 3 rebs on one play off his own misses (and he never converted), another one that fell into his hands and I think one where he tipped it into the corner of the rim causing a jump ball. He still doesn't box out well, and he's already running halfway down the court when he would've been in position to grab a long rebound off a missed 3pt'er or long jumper.

And the other problem is (this isn't something Eddy can control) is now that we're getting it to Eddy, when they do start overplaying him, everyone else is standing around on offense and not doing anything and not ready to do anything and the offense goes to crap.

But when the man gets in deep as often as he did last night he's pretty unstoppable. And that little hook shot in the lane was really working. And he dropped his shoulder a little less last night.

One other point...even when he plays like this...and he was dominant for that stretch in the 4th, he still strikes as more of a side piece or a roleplayer rather than the foundation. Just because he doesn't do much of anything other than score and when he does have night's like this its because the guards are finding way to set him up. It's not because he's beating people in the post with his own moves, or starting from out deep and making shots. (Like the traditional centers from back in the day like Ewing, Hakeem, David R etc.).

You have to find so many complemenatry pieces around him...a rugged, defensive minded, rebounding forward. A guard who looks to find this guy in position to get the ball deep. Guards on the perimeter that won't allow penetration on every play. Is it really worth all the effort?

I agree with this sentiment - that Curry is basically a decent role-player at this point. It looks like the Knicks overpaid for him.

LOL EC was arguably the best or 2nd best Knick on the floor last night yet they hate fest continues. No player is perfect. No player doesnt make errors or give up points.

Who played better?

Lee?
Nate?
Francis?
Jcraw?
Cato?
Marbury?
Crawford?

Maybe Qrich played better. Maybe. Thats it. So instead of focusing on the other 10 guys or so raising their games it becomes another Curry hate fest. I have news for you. Go read the Raptors board They were extremly impressed with Curry

If ain't Curry, then its Marbury. BTW, dont look now but Sweetney is also streaking, he raised his average a point since last week.

Gentlemen it's a process...It's important for Curry to get off now offensively and stay out of foul trouble...Thats cool with me...I think as the team becomes more cohesive, they will understand that defensive stops an execution is what wins ball games...They have to develop in stages..Now it Curry finding his place on this team and everyone else finding theirs...Wins will become important later this month and in January...They need time to feel each other's game out...Like Martin said, I have all year...But I think the defense will pick up when he is comfortable on the court and not in foul trouble...When he begin to gain some respect from the refs, he can gamble and be more aggressive...Patients gentlemen, patients...
